I was unaware until today that Uncle Marvin had passed away. I am so sorry I did not get to meet him. I am the daughter of his older brother Bill (William R. Davis, Jr.--they called him Junior), who passed away in 2008. I am very sorry for your loss.

I started at rossoe in 05 started a new job didn't know what to expect.then I met marv.he was easy to talk to and a good listener.marv taught me alot.it hard to say goodby to a man that was my mentor.I work with marv all the way till he didn't drive anymore even tho marv didn't drive I used to go pick marv up every day.we did that for awhile till marv said maybe we should stop becouse we didn't want me to get in trouble but I didn't care.it just didn't feel right with out him ther with me.but that's how marv was.I realy miss him when he wasent around.even when marv was home I still call him every day just to talk.I ask marv about stuff just to keep him sharp.I tell you marv was still sharp.rossoe was not the same w/out marv.marv took a lot of pride in what he did at rossoe.to me marv was rossoe.I didn't want marv to leave I also didn't want him in pain.I learn a lot from marv and for that I will never forget him.too my mentor.this no goodby this is until we meet again we did so much stuff together .p.s hey bro I finally met yur son jhon n his wife n kids.love u miss u always your friend.

I have been a driver for Rosssoe since 1998, and was blessed to know Marv during that time. I drive out of the north yard, so we didn't see Marv every day, but quite often. I have missed seeing his smiling face these last few years. Marv was a pleasure to talk to and work with. I know it really bothered him when he had to stop driving, but he kept working without complaint, and always had a smile to greet you with. I am very sorry for your loss. He was a good man.
