Love and miss you, my Papa.
Thank you for your service, sir. Rest in peace.
I had the honor of serving with Max on the Austin Association of Mediators board for about 9 or 10 years. He was a such pleasure to work with displaying professionalism and wisdom in his comments and suggestions. I am saddened to hear of his death and wish his family all the best during this difficult time.
I had the privilege of working with Max on mediations involving divorce/custody matters. Max was always assertive, professional and had the ability to balance this with a personable and respectful demeanor. He created a calm environment, quite a feat in this field. I am grateful to have known him. Sending lots of peace and support to his loving family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of Uncle Max.
We have many loving memories of Uncle Max and your family visits to Toledo over the years.
May the love of friends and family ease your sadness and may your cherished memories of Max bring you moments of comfort and lasting peace.

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to know Max. Rarely do you meet people that are so kind, sincere and genuine. My visits to the Scheider household were my favorites. Thanks for letting me into your lives. Kim Greenwood
As someone who had the honor of serving with Max both on the board of the Austin Association of Mediators and as a fellow mediator at the Austin DRC, I can tell you what you already know - Max was a wonderful person, intelligent, kind, compassionate, and one that we are all better for knowing.
Max was a devoted and skilled mediator with whom I had the pleasure of working with for many years at the Dispute Resolution Center. He received the Above and Beyond award given to those mediators who have demonstrated unrelenting availability and will to meet the needs of our community when facing civil adversity. Our hearts are with Max's family whom he spoke lovingly of, and we wish them peace as they carry on Max's legacy in their own endeavors.
At this time of loss may you know His compassion, His grace, and His love.May the love of God surround you during this time of sorrow. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
