Melba was very special to me. I met her when she used to come into the Doctor's office where I worked 25 years ago. She was very special and I learned a lot from her. She was kind and courageous. I will never forget her!!

I met Melba at The Waters and she was so sweet and she just always had something nice to say. I enjoyed listening to her life stories about living in California. I'm really going to miss her. She definitely has a place in my heart forever.

We lived across the street from Melba on Hillsdale Ave, her last address before moving to a nursing home. Though in her 80s, Melba was active and vibrant. She was a pioneer in her own way, experiencing new things and making new friends as her life progressed without preconception or prejudice. She was a wonderful friend.

What a beautiful lady Melba wasl Inside and out, she was so special. My mother Lenos Perry was in the room next to Melba until she died in 2006. Melba was so good to my mother and all of the others there. She certainly has earned her new home and new body. She will be missed. In Christian Love, Marilyn Grove, Cloverdale
