Mel Adams was a gracious and generous friend to Agoura High School. He was always ready to assist a good cause. He was also a long time member and supporter of the Agoura Kiwanis Club. If a man's good deeds during his life time pave the way to Heaven, Mel had earned a special place reserved just for him. Thanks for everything Mel! (Mike Botsford, former principal of Agoura High School.)
My family and I have know Mel and his family for almost 30 years! I personally have served him and his family food since I was a young buck! Mel will be greatly missed by myself and my Dad(who owns IHOP Agoura)! Love, Dana
We are so sorry to hear of Mel's passing.
May your memories bring you comfort.
It was a great honor to know this gentleman. He always extended a warm welcome and kind smile. A great loss to the Agoura community and his entire family. All so fortunate to have had him for such a long vibrant life. RIP
Sorry to read of your loss. I do genealogy and in searching I have found that Mel was a distant relative. It is amazing that we both lived in Agoura Hills. Margery Disbrow is buried in Westlake Village as is my husband and Ruth. Jean Campbell Bunch
I'm sorry to hear of Mel's passing. My son was in Boy Scout Troop 127 in Agoura. Our family and especially the Troop were always welcomed at Agoura Equipment Rental when we needed assistance with a project or assistance with the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser. Agoura has lost a wonderful man. We are grateful to Mel and to the Adams family for your support and encouragement of our Boy Scout Troop and also your support in the community. Mel was one of the people that gave assistance to my son's eagle project and to the eagle projects of several other boys who are now terrific young men. My condolences to you.
