It was with the greatest sadness i learned of Merry's passing. There was not a brighter person, she shone. Merry's smile soul and joy of life was an inspriation for us all. I will miss you sister soul. Merry's wonderful folks taught her to live life with arms wide open. And she did espescially with her heart. Her brother Jamie was always amazed at the heights she could rise to. The greatest people seek to serve others and Merrry was a great nurse.
My deepest condolences to the family, sincerely Tracy Garrow
I remember the Jay family from my childhood. My Dad, Beaner Smith coached Jamie in hockey and we were at the Jay's home at times. Many condolences to the family. Jamie Smith and family
"Can't convey my sadness. My heart goes out to her family and love ones. I will never forget Merry and what a big heart she had. She's an angel and was one since the day she was born to this earth.
Tony and Andrieana,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Merry was such a wonderful friend and neighbour. She made us feel so welcome on "the street" and treated all of the kids as if they were her own. The boys couldn't wait to go and talk to Merry when she was outside. We will miss her dearly.

We were very sad to hear of Merry's passing. Only having met one year ago, new next door neighbours to Merry and Tony. Merry made us feel welcome to the neighbourhood right away, always looking out for our cat Baily and keeping us in the loop of what was new on Grierson Street. We will miss Merry's smarty pants attitude and great sense of humor. Only wishing we could have gotten to know Merry longer, and share more of our jerk chicken that she loved so much. Our condolences to you Tony and your family.

Merry will be so missed. She was so devoted to her dog Blaze and could make you smile with her stories and advice. She always had a kind word and would go out of her way to help you any way she could. She was a bright light and I'm so glad we knew her. Our warmest thoughts go out to you Tony and your family.
My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Merry's family. She was one of the first people I met in our support group over 5 years ago and her positive and caring attitude helped me through some tough times. Although we have not seen her in awhile she was always in my thoughts. I was shocked to hear of her passing. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Merry was my best friend. 42 years have passed and all our memories are etched in my heart. We met when we were about 16 - and loved each other ever since. We shared love and laughter, pain and sorrow, but because we two were one - there wasn't anything that we couldn't get through together. I miss you so much! I thank God for leaving me with the memory of your smile - and I know we will meet again, on the other side...God Bless You, Merry. You were the best friend anyone ever could have had. You will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN and we will ALWAYS LOVE YOU!

Am shocked & sorry to read of Merry's passing. A bubbly, kind, and lovely young woman, very much like her family. The world is a lesser place, and I mourn the loss.
My condolences to Merry's family. We were friends in high school and then we re-aquainted at her health club. Always so caring and such a bubbly spirit. She will be missed.
Merry was my soul-sister. She taught me so much, and in all hopes, I shared a little bit too along our way. I know we shall meet again. My heart goes out to you Tony and your family. Warm hugs from Norm and from Jim
