Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My niece spoke with you last summer at White Point and I've been meaning to call you since then. After reading your Dad's obituary, it reminded me of the many weekends spent at your home while at the Mount. Your folks were very kind and it was much appreciated. I will call you soon.

Dear All, my family and I send our deepest condolences for the passing of beloved gramp/father Devanney. Even though I am far away, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You have a wonderful family, and your parents will always be remembered with love and admiration from anyone that was lucky to get close to them.
Dear Josh and family, sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one.
Brian - To you and your family we send our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Even though we never met, I believe that Murray Devanney was my father's first cousin. My father was Robert Falconer Devanney of Brookside. His father, Robert Joseph Devanney and Edward Devanney were brothers who grew up in Halifax on John Street. They were the sons of Robert Devanney (and Catherine Murphy). Robert's father Patrick was born in Ireland. I can see the family resemblance in the photo; I am sorry for your loss. My father died in 2003 at the age of 91. Debra Devanney Roberts, Waverley, NS formerly of Brookside.
Brian, I was sorry to read that your father passed away. He sounds like a gentleman who lived life to the fullest enjoying his family, hobbies and career. Celebrate his life revisiting the many happy memories you had together.
Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time,
