Nancy was a wonderful inspiration, confidant and soul mate. As a friend, Nancy was kind, warm and generous. Her departure cannot be replaced or filled. She simply shone.
GoodBye Nancy, Short were the number of years I knew you but in that time I knew I had met a lady that I would have loved to know much longer. Too bad that life doesn't give us perfect health and allow the trip to last as long as we wish but you are now in a place where I hear we wish for nothing. A place you will no doubt leave your mark on. I remember you sharing how our pets return to us there and it would be interesting to get a report on how all of yours are getting along...I guess heaven helps us all love each other. If you could, would you please send a little piece of it down here to help us all know the endless love that will one day be ours as well. Tomorrow we will all meet to celebrate your life and probably swap a few stories of how you have touched each of us. You would be proud to be there too I am sure as Kathryn has planned it to be a very special day for you and you know how good she is at making a day special for those she is honoring...I Remember you talking about how much you enjoyed Holidays at her house, especially the day of Hannah's graduation. We will all miss and remember you Nancy and there is a part of you that lives on in your family and each of us you have touched. You will be missed until we see you again...
How I will miss her. She was indeed an incredible woman who I had the privilege to know and work for for over 19 years. She was loved and admired by many. My heart goes out to you Kathryn, Weston and all her grandchildren & family. I pray you have peace in your hearts through this difficult time.
A lovely, classy remarkable women who the heavens will welcome with open arms....to all the family my deepest sympathy
I really enjoyed getting to know Nancy while we were working on her lineage back to her REV soldier. She and I had many nice lunches together and lots of "genealogy" talk. May God comfort the family, and know that you were loved by your mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. I will always remember her with great fondness. What an incredible woman! May she continue to empower others in her passing to do, be and act in ways consistent with who she was as a human being.
Another bright and shining star has been added to Heaven, our Miss (Ms.!) Nancy. Shining as bright as her beautiful smile. While I am deeply saddened, my heart rejoices knowing she is with our Father! My only regret, is that I do not believe she knew what an impact she had on me and, I'm sure, many others. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing the bit of time you had with us. You will never be forgotten (and loved) May peace be with you! My love and prayers are with you Kathryn, Hannah and Weston, God bless.
