Dear Linda, Scott & Family,

My thoughts and prayers have been with you over these past few weeks. I know what a difficult time this must be for you.

I visited your Mom at Longmeadow a short time before she passed. She was sleeping and I didn't want to disturb her; I did leave her some cookies.

Norma was a wonderful, gracious lady filled with God's love and gentleness. I have fond memories of her.

The dedicated love and care you gave to her is beyond words. May God bless you, dear friends.

Love and prayers,

Thinking of you during this time, and praying you'll find cimfort and knowing that the one you love is home now, free...at peace in the presence of God.

You have given so much time and energy to the care of your mother. Your lives will now be different, but the same Lord is continuing to watch over your family and strengthening and guiding you on thru this life.

I held your mother very precious - she was always a close friend and confidant with me especially in the early years.

God gave you and Joe special parents and grandparents. I am very glad to have been touched by them also.

Take care of yourself Linda and do something special for yourself that you have been putting off for the Future. The Future is Here!

In Christ's Love,

Does Jesus care when I've said "goodbye" to the dearest on earth to me, and my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks, is it aught to Him? Does He See? O yes, He cares, I know he cares, His heart is touched with my grief, when the days are weary, the long night dreary, I know my Savior cares. With deepest sympathy to you at this time of sorrow.

A flood of beautiful memories let loose when I read Norma's OB this morning. She was a sweet soul, and I remembered how much respect my parents had for Sam and Mina, and their dear faces are still with me. We've all been friends and neighbors through these many years. I'm recuperating from a 6 day stay in the hospital and regret I can't attend Norma's services. I am so sorry. I'm much better. The Visiting Nurse comes the day of the services for the last time. Please know I am thinking of you, and remembering Norma with love, admiration and utmost respect for the way she lived her life. She was a great, good lady. Love and prayers,

May time heal your pain and bring you peace.
April 04, 2013
My grandma was an amazing woman. She was hardworking, passionate about her family, faithful to God. She enjoyed scrap booking, crafts, she was an amazing cook. When I was in college, we had an assignment to do a speech about someone who had an impact on our lives and I chose my grandma. She taught me about being a hard worker. I saw that in her when she worked on the farm. I miss her very much but I know shes with my grandpa again and someday I hope to be with them again. I love you grandma and grandpa. May you both rest in peace.
April 03, 2013
When we lose someone dear, our lives feel the emptiness, our hearts feel the loss. May you find peace in remembering all your mother meant to you and to every person whose life she touched.
We will cherish our fond memories of Norma.

What a blessing to know that life's final journey leads to the eternal peace that waits for us in heaven. Hope it softens your sadness to know that even now your loved one is walking in the light of God's love.

"I have finished the work which you have given me to do" John 17:4

As Christ conveyed His final message to us at Calvary we too have our work for him to do. When He calls us home we know our work here is now complete and He now needs us in Heaven to continue on. Those who have now gone to be with Christ leave their legacy to us to continue on in our work He's laid before us to do. They all are never far away from us...they'll remain in our hearts and memories until some day we'll see them again face to face and we will all rejoice in the arms of the One who makes this possible - Christ Jesus.
April 03, 2013
Wishing you everything to help ease your sadness - strength as you meet each new day, comfort as you rest, peace in your heart as you remember and heal.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
April 03, 2013
The blessings of your mother's love are yours forever. You mother's love lives on in her wise words, in the ways she shaped who you are - in the beautiful memories that will always bless your heart.

We certainly have "beautiful memories" of your Mom and music night. She was a joy to have in our home.
April 03, 2013
Some days we walk a lonely path with tear drops in our eyes. Caught up in worries of the day before we realize that God is there to share the load no matter what the task; the weight is eased when shared by two....all we need do is ask.

Our hearts goes out to you both. It's not easy saying goodbye to your mother, your best friend. Feel free to let Jim and I know if there is anything we can do.

Love you both.

A sympathy card came in the mail that says it all:

As You Honor Your Mother......

You'll never forget your mother's face,
the sound of her voice, the gentleness of her touch.....they let you know you were loved.

You'll never forget the stories she told, the traditions she handed down...they let you know who you are.

You'll never forget the lessons she taught, the things she stood for... they are her gift and your legacy.

You'll never forget, and you'll always know that you honor her every day in how you live and who you are.

(I'm thinking of you during this time. Your Mom was such a nice lady. Both of your parents were wonderful.
April 03, 2013
I was blessed to have a Mom and Dad who raised me and taught me to respect my elders. My parents also took me to church, and taught me about Jesus Christ early on in life! As farmers they worked very hard raising vegetables, and going to the East Cleveland market. I'm glad I was raised on a farm....lots of hard work. I loved going to the market to see the produce. They taught me values, and that giving is better than receiving. Our family always had a close bond and were very encouraging, loving and supportive. I thank God for Mom and Dad and my brother Joe. We were blessed to have a wonderful Mom and Dad. What a wonderful week to have a funeral.....Good Friday! We have wonderful memories and we will see our Mom in God's timing. We love you Mom. Happy Easter!
