Condolences to all members of Omega's family, Paula, Zina, and Millie my heart goes out to each of you as I met her many, many years ago at Aunt Paula's house in Macon. I know that no words can help your pain, and time will not heal it either, Grieve as you need to, my thoughts and Prayers are with you. Love to you all.
Fond memories of omega with golf group at sedgefield...she will be missed but not forgotten[loved jokes she always shared] May family find comfort knowing she had many friends at SCC. Dodo Morton
We met Omega when she moved into Forest Oaks and began playing golf here. I, Helen played many rounds with her and became a close friend of hers. We also enjoyed visiting together the areas in SC & Ga where we grew up. Jerry and I will certainly miss her. Jerry & Helen Lawson
Condolences to all who knew Omega--Though I knew Omega, I believe I only played golf a few times with her,and as I recall it, it was "an experience."( Me hitting from the rough or woods and Omega true to the words-" usually only fairways and greens"!! But no matter, our foursome those matches had laughing, fun times as Omega would share her friendliness, chatter and banter. I'll bet she can find a new/good game in heaven. Lord knows to spare Omega sand and water hazards! Her smile and golf stories will be missed.
I met Omega when worked with her at CVS in Greensboro. She is one of the neatest ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. When I talk about Omega to the people that I work with now I always say that one of my favorite John Wayne quotes describes her best is "She has true grit". She will truly be missed.
She will be missed by many friends and golf buddies. She was always a pleasure to be with and a great player.
I met Omega at Lynwoof Golf and Country Club in Martinsville, VA. She would come up each year for our tournament. She always had a smile on her face and loved to pick and kid with all of us. I am very sorry for your loss.
I met omega at Forest Oaks when I first starting learning the game of golf. We had many good times shared on the golf course with Helen Lawson and myself in the beginning of my learning days. The three of us also shared a fun weekend at Pine Needles at Pinehurst. She was always tinkering with her game and I loved it because it was like a store. If you wanted a new club Omega always had one for sale. I have enjoyed her friendship over the years and when she broke her ankle we had more to share because I also broke my ankle on the golf course.
She will certainly be missed In our golfing community.
I met Omega through mutual friends. The times we spent together where always enjoyable ones. She was a very kind and caring person. I know she is now looking forward to spending time on God's greens Rest in Peace my friend.
When Omega moved to Greensboro from Ga. A mutual friend told her to call me. We met for lunch and have been friends since. As the years passsed we only saw each other once in awhile yet it was as if we had talked the day before
and always caught up on our lives. She was a good friend and I will miss seeing her. I know you are in a better place now and we'll catch up again some day!
