Papaw, only God knows how may lives you touched with your big heart and loving spirit. I will never know anyone who cared so much for his family and those around him as you did. You will live on in many hearts including mine.

Papaw you will be forever loved and missed dearly. Looking back over my life I have such great memories of you, Grandma and I. Like the vacations we took, the concerts we attended, and all of the others. I will always treasure our visits at the nursing home. Its funny how everyone is remembered by something and I guess yours would have to be your garden. We had a lot of great times in the garden until the day I went into it by myself. I'll never forget you hollering Kim, get out of my garden. Rest in peace Papaw. Your grandaughter Kim

My condolences to you all. I know you will so miss Uncle Otto. When I think back on my childhood some of my fondest memories are of how kind and sweet Uncle Otto and Aunt Gladys were always to us. I will always remember Uncle Otto's "HUGE" garden and how hard he worked in it. As it was said earlier he could cook a meal in a heartbeat and it wouldn't just be 1 meat and a couple vegetables, it would be at least a couple of meats and 5 and 6 vegetables. Thank you Uncle Otto for some wonderful childhood memories. As I looked at this wonderful video it really brought them back his evening. God Bless you all.
