My deepest sympathy to Mr Manafort's family and closest friends. They had a great father and friend in Paul and I know he appreciated the fact that they provided the finest of care for him in his later years. It was a privilege to have played a small role in that endeavor and I thank his family for having afforded me that opportunity.

I grew up hearing many stories of Mr. Manafort from my father who was President of the New Britain Police Union during Mr Manafort's time as Mayor. Although they did not agree at times, there was a great deal of respect between the two. My father also passed in May of 2012 and I'd like to think that in some way they are catching up on old times. What a great man. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your photos, I could not help but tear up while viewing them. It is obvious there is so much love in your family and he was happy. May God bless you during this time of sorrow.

I am very sad for our loss; he was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. I'm grateful he was with us for so many years. I am so thankful we were able to celebrate this past Christmas with him (Thank you Paul and Kathy). It is never easy to lose a parent, no matter how hard we try to prepare ourselves. Paul, Kathy and Dennis, I am thinking of you and sending wishes for strength and peace of mind for you all at this very difficult time. May he rest in peace and rejoice at rejoining Antoinette and Bobby.
