Dashiell Family; I pray that God blesses you even more now than ever before, being that you have not just one angel, but two angels looking down upon you all and saying to each other "Well Done". I am honored to have known him and you're mother Ms Effie, for the time that I did in my youth.
God bless you all and may God continue to keep you!

Dear Family:

I did not know your father or family. I write to thank you and your father for his willingness to serve that we might be free. I realize he has instilled in you the same desire for as he served you too made many sacrafices yet were exposed to so much, learning how can we make this world a better place. I will always remember his warm smile and caring nature. As a young teller beginning my career in banking Mr. Dashiell became one of my most favorite customers. 20+ years later I still remember him and speak about him often. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you cherish all your beautiful memories of him and may they bring smiles to your days despite the pain of his loss.

I was so shocked and sorry to read today about the passing of "Uncle" Philip . He was a great and kind man. He and his family were so welcoming to my wife and I when I was stationed at Ft. Meade in the 1980's. I will always remember his infectious smile, great humor, and love of family that he extended to me and my family over the years.

Sorrowfully Submited,
