Just learned of Ralph's passing. A great brother to all officers he touched. Rest in peace Ralph
Sergeant Doug Crawford, Retired Butler County Sheriff
TO ALL THE FAMILY;
I have a big emptiness in my heart with Ralph's passing. I look forward to being with him for all eternity in heaven. This precious promise keeps me afloat in these troublesome times. May God strengthen each one of you, one day at a time.
Biff and Kristen,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ralph was such a great guy. I know he will be looking down on both of you and your families, and guiding you all through the rest of your lives. You all have a wonderful Guardian Angel watching over you. God Bless you all in this time of sorrow. RIP Ralph.
Love you both very much!
I've been thinking about my dad a lot lately. I sure miss him. Since I heard the news of Uncle Ralph, I've also pondered the joyous reunion between brothers and sisters, son and parents on the other side. As we grieve the loss of dear loved family, I often look forward to the time when we will all join together again in love, oneness and unity.
My thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you during this time of transition and adjustment. I pray that the absence of our beloved family who have progressed forward before us maybe brief, that the joy of reuniting might bring us all great happiness...forever!
God bless us ALL!
Bret Bowman (Nephew)
Ralph was an excellent police officer who displayed inspiring leadership as FOP President, and compassion for those whom he served. He was also a great listener - and friend. It was a privilege to have known him.
I was so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. Even though you were only husband and wife for a short time, you gave him many years of happiness. I will keep you in my prayers.
So sorry for your loss. Even though your days were few as husband and wife, you made him very happy for a long time. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Ralph was police officer when I worked for the Juvenile Court many years ago. May he rest in peace he served the City of Hamilton well.
Toni, we're so sorry for your loss. Ralph has been family to us all these years and we loved and admired him so much. We love you pray for your comfort during this time.
My sympathies to the Bowman family. Worked with Ralph at HPD. I was Vice Pres. of FOP 38 while Ralph was President. Went on many fishing trips to Canada with him. Always enjoyed his company. He was a good man.
R.I.P "BO"', spent a lot of days riding cycles on the H.P.D. with Ralph in the early 60's, he was a good officer and was a kind person as well. Very sorry for his passing, he will not be forgotten.
So sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I enjoyed knowing him while he was on the police department. He and Gaston Bowling rode their motorcycles out here to Colorado for a visit a number of years ago and Ralph took a bad spill on his and I drove over to Utah to pick him up and put him on a plane for Hamilton. I really will miss this great guy! My sympathy to Ralph's family.
Ralph was one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. All retired police officers owe him alot for his hard work and diligence for getting a better working wage and pension benefits for us all. That great smile will be missed. Dan Lang

Our deepest sympathies to the Bowmans. Ralph always managed to show up at the most opportune times while growing up with his son Dave. Many memories of a well respected man.
Kris and Biff,
So sorry for your loss, we are thinking of you both through this difficult time. Love to you all, Shawna, Mike and family
Larry, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Tim
Ralph Bowman was an excellent police officer -- caring and compassionate to those he served. He was a leader in law enforcement circles, serving as President of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 38 during very difficult times. He led his officers with devotion and courage. It was a privilege to have worked with him. His booming voice and quick smile will be missed. HPD is entering a period of mourning, draping the badges of all officers with a black ribbon in his memory.
With sincere sympathy to his wonderful family,
Neil R. Ferdelman
Chief of Police (Ret.)
