Mike and Barbara Bender (Menendez) express our deepest grief for the loss. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. It was a great pleasure to have seen him again in 1993 after our time living in the same neighborhood in the 40s and 50s.

I loved Mr. and Mrs. Arroyo. They were the kindest people whenever I came to their house to pick up one of my best friends, Robert. He always told us to be careful and try to stay out of trouble. God Bless to the Arroyo family

Nuestro Tio Raul: A great sportsman who kept his body and mind attuned to life for all of his 100 years. We always looked up to this successor as head of the Arroyo clan and model for a father. His remarkable feat of living for 100 years will be included in the family record of records. Ana Maria and I shall always treasure the days we spent with him and our cousins for his 100th birthday. It was a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we did not miss and we were blessed to be able to bring his sister Josie along to celebrate this special moment. Now only Josie is left for the Arroyo Marquez that went to Philadelphia. We pray that we may be as good to her as were all of our cousins to our beloved Uncle Raoul. We know we will have help from above, for surely Raoul is in Heaven.

Dear Family
So many loving memories, good times and great food. Where does it all go? It was a special time and a special place when your fmaily and ours (Tantillo's & Samulski's) met and became one large extended family, sharing new experiences day to day.
We love you. Your father and Mother were Saints and an inspiration for all of us. Even now.
All my prayers and my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dad. May we each withness the same fullness in life, fmaily and friends.
God Bless you,
Tom Tantillo

"Mr Arroyo" was one of the most understated and commanding persons I've ever encountered. His quiet but deliberate and respectful demeanor commanded respect, in turn. The arrival of the Arroyo's in North Augusta marked the most culturally enriched period of our development. I and my brothers and sister and our cousins, the Tantillos, share your grief and extend our deepest sympathy to all of our dear childhood friends. Eddie Samulski
