Dear Grandpa,

I may not have told you enough how much I loved you, how shy I am to express my thoughts and feelings. But now that it is too late to talk to you how I feel …I am upset with my self that I didn't speak to soon…
Grandpa I want to say thank you to you and Grandma, for entering my life and always being there for me and my parents… you took me in when I was sick with Cancer, I think of you as my second father and Grandma as my second mother… you both stood beside my parents when times where tough and in return I was there to help you by cleaning up around the house and helped you all in the garden .. You and my parents taught me what to do in a garden. Grandpa said I was his little helper, I helped you pick corn, beats, green beans, tomato's, radishes, turnips, and then you taught me how to clean them mom and dad was there to help me to as well as canning…traditions' are handed down..thanks to a wonderful grandpa and grandma.
I want to say Thanks for watching me after school at sick times or not, or when I wasn't allowed to be around my sisters b/c they was sick or I would get sicker because of my cancer. Plus I liked going to your house you always gave me butterscotch candy, and little Debbie snacks or dad would bring over my favorite Elephant ears yumyum..while we watched, I love Lousy, Dukes of Hazards, western shows, and listen to the oldies music..like Jim Reeves, Christy Lane, Beach Boys, Elvis Presley ect…
I cant leave out our times we shared when we would go camping.. Oh wow the smell of eggs, old fashion hash browns, bacon, sausage, omelets, Pancakes, biscuits and gravy… hummm and playing in the fire we you would get upset with me on that…but you would teach us grandkids how to make smores…I would always help grandma clean up afterwards. You taught us how to play card games, dominos, jokes, you're the best grandpa…
Thanks for all the memories and being there for me and my parents it means a lot to know when family is always there for you even when your sick.
As I got older and somewhat wiser, I was honored to have you and grandma watch over my son Ethan, because I knew he would be in good hands… you spoiled him; Ethan would tell me stories that Granmpom gave him ice cream and Graunma gave him snakers two of them and to shhhh because they told me not to tell you mom….LOL
Grandpa I love you so much, I know you are in Gods hands and your are at rest. I miss you and your on my mind always, you mean the world to me. I know you left us but for the good in all of us, and you left us something better in all of us, and all the memories we shared together will be cherished in our hearts and minds.
Our Father in heaven pick a strong handsome, good-looking man to behold in his garden above. May a perfectly young beautiful angel hold your hand as you two watch over all of us down here, Grandpa - please tell her we love her. Love you Always your, Granddaughter Celena
