I have not truly known this amazing man except by default of knowing his offspring and family in the past; however, I am able to say that he was an exceptionally brilliant man by just meeting and, having met his beautiful, talented, compassionate, and" think outside the box" offspring, (especially his son Ray Jr) He was the person I knew closely. To say one is" survived" means that they are carried on through family legacy for undeterminable eons. No stronger honor to legacy exists than what R.W. has produced, his children, and through them will be living on within all hearts of his family, friends, and aquaintenances...tThe ultimate, immortal honor.

Had the privilege of knowing Bill through Toastmasters since 2000. He's a very unique individual who gave us plenty of fun memories throughout the years. Don't think we'll ever see someone like him again.

Thanks, Bill, for being a part of my life. We were never at a loss for words, you and I, and I especially enjoyed your stories of my dad from many years ago. I'll miss them. I'll miss you. You and yours are in my thoughts.

I'm so glad to have know Bill. We have so many wonderful stories that bring laughs. When someone said Martina's last name wrong, he would shout "Ma-TEE-sen", or when he told me about how he got out of a traffic ticket by using logic, or many other stories, he shared, he filled our lives with joy!

Mr. Baruth opened his heart and home to my husband and me without hesitation. I ate with him only a couple of times at breakfast in Crystal Lake, but my husband did many times discussing current events, which he was well versed in. He will be sorely missed, but, Heaven now has a new Saint! RIP Mr. Baruth! Kim

Bill will be sorely missed. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know him, if only for awhile. His presence has been and will be missed at our Toastmasters meetings. Nobody can fill those shoes. My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to Bill's family. R.I.P. Dear Bill.
