My father always spoke of his friend, your father, like a brother. I was always impressed with the diversity of his life's journey, and that he had the obvious respect of his family and professional peers. May the Lord's peace comfort you, and I will remember him as a man that was always an inspiration to those that knew him. Mark from Naples.
Dear Family of Dr. Beights and particularly the Van Cleave family whom I know personally, please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your dad and grandpa. He was so fun and kind. I know you will miss him dearly. God bless you all.
I am sorry for your loss. God be with you all. Joellen, thank you for shoveling my parents sidewalk.
As a member of Mr. Beights' A Capella Choir (class of '50), I must say he was my very favorite teacher at North Side. He was kind and funny and very talented. My sincere condolences to the family.
As a former member of the Acappella Choir and Triple Trio, I will always remember Ray as a fine teacher, husband, father and doctor. He and Mrs Beights were present at our 50th class reunion and we were privileged to have them there.

Dr Beights was our family doctor for several years. A relative, Dr Hap Dragoo of Wabash was a friend of his and recommended him. He was a warm and caring man. Not many people have a career for so many years and then go on to something very different and challenging while raising a family. He has left a special legacy to many.

To Ray Beights and his family,
Sorry to read about your father's death. May God continue to comfort you as you mourn his death but rejoice in knowing that this is just a temporary time away from his family. Praise God that you will see him again with a new, healthy body. Our condolences to his children, grandchildren and other family members. Dave and Linda Erdman

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. GOD "WHO'S WORD IS TRUTH" PROMISES US THAT WE WILL SEE OUR LOVED ONES AGAIN, MAY YOU FIND COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT HE IS WITH YOU NOW.
I remember singing in North Side High choir in the late 1940's and enjoyed being in Mr. Beights class. My sympathy to his family.
I enjoy listening to his organ playing from during the worship services when he was organist at Zion Lutheran Church from 1945-1955. He and Clare Edwards drew the specifications for the Casavant Peace Organ that was dedicated in 1948.
The loss of a dear loved one is never easy. May the Beights family find comfort in the words of Reve. 21:4. When soon death and the sorrow felt with the loss of dear loved one will be of the past.
AN AMAZING MAN!!!!
MY CONDOLENCES TO THE BEIGHTS FAMILY.
