Jeanne was my hero as we both battled cancer. I will always feel blessed to have known her. She was a true gift to us all.

What a lovely tribute to Jeanne--loved the pics at the old house with
Harry and Mae--brought back many memories. what a beautiful bride and handsome groom--was so pleased and honored to be apart of it--can it be over 50 yrs ago??? Bruce, she was like my big sister--a wonderful role model--she has always been so special to me.
Loved the pics of the boys and their families-what a great support at this sad time in your life. Cass Duffy Schmit (Atlanta, GA)

Jeanne gave more love than she received. I was always impressed by her genuineness and care for others. Her memory is a shining beacon to those who had the fortune to know her, work with her and play tennis with her. The world has lost someone very special. - Helen Banta

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Jeanne was as nice a person as I've ever met! She always had a kind word or question about my family or my kids....sharing her love of books with my sons when they were small..and recommending great "reads" when they were waiting at the club between tennis lessons... even loaning them a book from time to time!
I feel blessed to have known Jeanne, and to have been her friend. Few people make an impression the way she did..I am so saddened by her passing, but so grateful to have known her.

My love and prayers to Bruce, and the whole family during this difficult time.

I was only seven when my Uncle Bruce married the most beautiful person I had ever seen. In my eyes it was Prince Charming and Cinderella and she was going to become my Aunt Jeanne and she liked me, I was the luckiest seven years old in the world.
We lived so far away and didn’t get to see each other often but I remember the Christmas Eve telephone calls; having to wait my turn just to have a few precious words with her before I had to pass the phone on to the next person. My favorite memories where the visits, she spent time with me, asked me questions about my life and made me feel special. Aunt Jeanne taught me how to be an aunt, I thank you. I almost forgot that she was the best at picking out Christmas presents, that is why I never got married (inside joke-must ask Uncle Bruce). Aunt Jeanne you will forever be in my heart.

Jeanne was always so kind and sweet to me while working at Mequon Elite! I am really going to miss her! My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Jeanne's family and friends.

You are, without a doubt, the greatest lady to grace our world. Your love, kindness, and compassion showed no bounds. Your physical presence in our lives will be sorely missed yet you shall live on in the beautiful family legacy that together you & Dad created. I can see you now: celebrating your new life with as many dogs as your heart desires, looking stunningly beautiful on the tennis court (winning, of course), pouring tea for all your friends (sugar and lemon, please) and waltzing with God!

Thank you for the life you have given me. May I be just like you when (and if) I ever grow up.

I love you.

A stream has no ending, for the ocean never ends. A path winds on, though we can't see around its bends. God has promised us a home through all eternity where life and love continue beyond what we can see.
Mrs. Archambeau was a true angel and she touched the lives of many people. Her kindness will always live in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to have known her.
