Dick was a special person who always took the time to do it right. His help to my sister in her time of need will always be remembered
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. ~
Dick was my boss and my mentor. It was through his example that I strive to be a better engineer. His insight taught me to take a complicated problem, reduce it to it's fundamental elements, and the solution becomes much simpler. I will miss the man, the engineer.
Mr. Allen was from the same generation as my father. It was important to be a dedicated family man. Mr. Allen raised a fine family, and loved his grandchildren. His generation praised hard work and dedication to the job. Mr. Allen was a hard worker and was a true success in his life. Like my father, he was conservative in thought and dress and had a brilliant mind. The last time I saw Mr. Allen was at his wife's funeral. That is the picture I will always keep of him, in my mind. Without Mr. Allen, I never would have met my "sister," Diane, who is the best friend anyone could ever have. Thank you, Mr. Allen.
Dick was one of my very dearest friends. He was my "adopted" father when I no longer had parents; he was also my "angel on earth" during the recent trials I have endured, always offering encouragement and support. I feel so blessed to have had one of the finest men that ever lived as a special part of my life. God bless you, Dick -- I will love you always and miss you immeasurably <3
