I have very fond memories of Richard. To Linda and the Richard's children and grandchildren -- please know that this is not good bye but so long for now until we meet again. My Dad Dean Welker was a brother to Richard's mother Mildred Archdale. We used to share many Thanksgiving's together. There was always love and laughter that filled the room during that special holiday. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
May the memories you shared with each other bring you happiness and joy in the coming days.
one of my favorite memories of dad is when he surprised me one morning with a motorcycle ride first time I had ever been on a motorcycle we went all over the place was the best I will never forget you. you were an awesome father-in-law love you always
Most of my memories of Richard are from years ago - I was one of Richard's cousins. My mother and his were sisters and Thanksgiving was always our day with Mom's family. All of her siblings and all of their kids and then grandkids as the older cousins married and had families of their own - we quickly out grew houses and had to rent places to hold our dinner. ;-) the M & G pantry (his mom and dad's resaurant), VFW halls, community centers, fire departments - you name it, we had Thanksgiving dinner in it. As the older generation started to pass, the cousins began to drift away, but it was apparent from the visitation and the picture tribute that Richard was always surrounded by a loving family. Rest in peace, Richard.
The Morgan family is so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this period of loss.

Linda and family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I was married to Richard's uncle Jimmy Hedges and we spent time with him back in the sixties. Jim went on to be with the Lord in 1999. Jim and Richard spent a lot of time together growing up as they were close in age. His mother, Mildred was Jim's oldest half-sister. Praise God that he came to know our precious Lord before his departure. May your family find peace and comfort in your loss.
What a beautiful tribute. My deepest sympathy Karen for you and your family.
