My name is Dimitri Chavez. I just met Richard briefly along with his sons briefly in December. I really liked him and his story about his past. He was a really nice guy and family man. I was truly heartbroken to know he had passed and that I missed his funeral.
I am truly sorry for your family.
I had the pleasure of meeting your father in January. He was a genuine person and a gentleman. My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours, Nicole

I was so sorry to hear of Dick's death in yesterday's paper. I will always remember him as my very first "boyfriend" as he gave me a kiss in the cloak room at St Therese Little Flower school in first grade. Sorry to all of Dick's family - sounds like he grew up to be a wonderful man.
So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He lived next door to us on Highland and was in my class at St. Therese Little Flower back in the late 50s! What a great family. Have lost touch of him over the yrs, may your deep faith comfort you in this difficult time.
