Yvonne, Nancy, Kylie and Holly,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss of R.J. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. We loved his wonderful sense of humor. He was always full of life and we were hoping to see him again this summer. Well, God had other plans but we know that he rests in the arms of God. Love to you all.

Yvonne,my thoughts and prayers are with you and your girls at this sad time ... At this time of my life, I check the obits every day as we have been losing friends that we shared so much fun with back in our formative years. I was knocked back in my chair as I saw of Dick's passing in today's Blade. Back when Dick had come to Libbey, we shared so many good times together and laughs at the crazy stunts we pulled. Good times and fun memories, Yvonne. After too many years where we weren't in touch -- I was able to contact him as we worked on our 50th reunion, and we again were able to share laughs thru our emails. His tremendous spirit and sense of humor will be missed, but, never forgotten ...
RIP, my friend -- You were one of the "good guys" !!
So sorry to hear of your loss.
Ish-Kaboodle, His prescence was the best gift I could have ever had at my mothers passing. I cannot express how sorry I am to hear of my Uncle Dick's passing. I think back to all of my relatives and have the happiest memories of my dear Uncle. My mother and father adored him. Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am. I searched high and low to find the bracelet that he gave me when I was a young girl, and finally found it tonight. The engraving of "Crisco" will always remain deep in my heart and with wearing it now I feel his love, and gift of happiness that he brought to many. He was the most positive loving, caring and kindest man I have ever known. My deepest sympathy to your wonderful wife, Aunt Yvonne and your beautiful children and grandkids. Love always, Chrissey
Aunt Yvonne, Nancy, Kylie, Holly and all those amazing grand kids! My heart is heavy and I am so sorry I am not there to give each and everyone of you a big hug! I know the heartache of losing someone so suddenly and no words can cure the incredible heartache you are all feeling right now. Lean on each other, love each other and laugh, he would want you to all be happy! I will miss the way he could make you laugh and smile even if you were having the worst of days. I can see him up in heaven with my mom & dad and grandma Yucking it up & wondering why we are all mourning his loss. Know that he loved each of you dearly and will always be there for you, just look to the heavens and laugh! RIP Uncle Dick, i will miss you -love Cindy "pucker-poo"
Very sad to hear of Dick's passing; one of my best friends going back to grade school at Rosary Cathedral and friendship continued even through all of his relocations. Dick was the Best Man in our wedding! To my knowledge, I don't think he ever had a bad day in his life, always upbeat and thinking crazy things! Truly one of my best friends, Tom Yost
I will never forget you grandpa.

Thinking of all of you and praying for peace. I will always remember RJ for giving me my first job, his laughter and orneriness. Also remember him being "Santa" at our senior year Christmas dance and holding my daughter.
