Grandma thank you for welcoming me and my mom to the family. i well always remember you and the memories that you have giving for the last 22yrs. I love you always and forever
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. What a wonderful tribute I see to your Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma in your writings about her she is smiling down on all of you now and she sees what a great family she has and loves you all very much. She will be missed as I remember everything she did for my Mom when she was living at the Epiphany Pines. She was a wonderful woman and friend.
To the best mom, grandma, great grandma and friend anyone could ask for! You are in our hearts and memory for all time. Love you!!!
You will be remembered by so many, you touched more people then you will ever know! To the whole Albrecht Family our hearts and prayers go out to you! With Love, The Macallairs
Rita... my Mother In-Law, my mentor, my teacher, my only mother for the past 23 years since my mothers death, and most of all my friend. You taught me to be a giving person, how to garden, how to sew and knit, and best of all...care about what counts the most "Family". You were always there for any family member who needed help and even a stranger that you thought may be comforted by the simple things that you did that would bring them some joy. You've been an exceptional mom, grandmother, and great grandmother that will be hard to live up to. We've all learned this quality from you and hope to pass it on as you did for your children. You will be missed by many and talked about for many years to come with fond memories of what a great person you were. Love to you until we all meet again.
I will remember you for your colorful personality & always thinking of everyone else before yourself & your unconditional love for your family. I will think of you every time I use the dish cloth you gave me when Micky & I came over to visit with you. Rita you will be missed dearly by all that knew you! Your in a good place now, God Bless You!
You will never be forgotten. We love you and miss you. Rest in peace grandma!!
What a strong compassionate woman you are. Always doing so much for others; family members, acquaintances, acquaintances of acquaintances & complete strangers. I just love that about you!! I'm just blessed to have such a close relationship w/you. I have learned so much from you & cherish all of the time we've spent together. My kids just adore you & talk about you in heaven :)Just one of a kind beautiful person inside & out! You will be missed dearly.
Dave, Birdie...& the entire Albrecht family, I wish you strength and great memories. These times are never easy.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Birdie.
Amazing both photos, 70 years apart, have the same smile, same shape of the mouth and the same hairline.
YOU are BEAUTIFUL MOM!
If you spell MOM upside down it is WOW.
Thank you for all of your hard work over the years. You have done so much for all of your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, your church and others.
Bennett said, "THAT'S A GREAT JOB GRANDMA RITA.", when you were drawing the bunnies, mouse and flowers just a few days ago for him and Kate.
Well, GREAT JOB indeed as our mom, a volunteer member of Epiphany and as a person.
THANK YOU for all you have done for others:
Working at Epiphany's State Fair restaurant, serving funeral luncheons at Epiphany, making baby hats for three hospitals, lap blankets for the VA, making scarfs, hats, jackets, matching pj's and bonnets, stuffed bears, stuffed monkey puppets, baby blankets, burp cloths, dish towels, crocheted dish cloths, donations of stuff to the schools (Since you never threw anything out.), especially those things to the art room and SO MUCH MORE.
To comfort you I sang the song you and dad liked to dance to, THE TENNESSEE WALTZ. (Bet you were happy when it was found on a CD.) Now you and dad are dancing again in heaven.
It was so sad driving away from your home on New Year's Day. It is now just a house without you being there.
One of Albert Einstein's many theories is: "ALL LIVING THINGS HAVE ENERGY AND WHEN THAT LIVING THING DIES THAT ENERGY IS RELEASED AND IS ALWAYS PRESENT." I believe that life's energy is your spirit or soul.
I see you when I look into a mirror. You and I are very much alike.
I LOVE YOU.
