Dear Rudy and family, your mother was more than an aunt. She was like a second
mother to me. Ever since I was a kid she would make us feel special by the way she cared about us. I had the privilege of living with her for some time. She will always have a special place in my heart, and I will remember her as a very special person in my life. (Raul Torres, San Diego, CA)

From our family to Rudy and all family members concerned:: Rita will definitely be missed by us all. As I spent a substantial part of my life abroad, I didn't have the opportunity to see her much, but my most recent was last year at Margie's house where I, Margie and Josie spent all evening discussing our family ancestry and parental relatives we never met. Rita had photos of our Spanish/Mexican relatives which she shared with us and I will be indebted to her for enlightening this aspect of our roots. Rita planned to meet with us again to share more family history on my next visit to El Paso, but unfortunately...
