To Linda Bidder Manning,
I am stunned and deeply saddened to hear of Rob's passing. My deepest symphathies to you and Rob's family. My name is Patty Sanders. My parents Bob and Jan, brothers Mike, Jeff and baby sis Leslie lived across the street from you on Cabot Rd for 3 years. Robbie,Michael Smith and I were best friends. My brother Mike was friends with your brother Paul and Lonnie Cohen.Your parents,Delores and Shep Cohen and my parents used to get together. I remember Robbie as being a very nice young man. Fond memories of driving into the city with your Dad (the police officer) and Robbie. When I became severly sick and had to be home schooled for 3 months Robbie still remained my friend. When I attempted to return to school you took me under your wing.I remember Robbie and I walking down to the horse farm across the train tracks and getting into trouble for being gone so long, fishing for tadpoles in the muddy ponds where Danvers high school stands.I have fond memories of your whole family. It's nice to know Rob became successful and grew such a beautiful family. I lost my Mom four years ago, my brother Mike 17 years ago. I knew Shep and Delores Cohen had left us. I just didn't expect the loss of Rob or your brother Paul so soon. I do believe all of our loved ones are just on the other side of the door watching over us. God Bless, Patty Sanders

Bob accepted me into his workgroup at a time when I was about to lose my job at Sun. However, I never did express any gratitude or acknowledge this act of grace upon his part. My selfish ambition, injured by what I viewed to be a demotion, prevented me from being a good friend to him. In spite of this, Bob did his very best to meet my needs in the hope that I could share in the success of his team. I can testify that each and every day Bob answered the call from Jesus that is recorded in Luke 6:27-36.

My sincere sympathy goes out to Bob's family. He treasured the moments he spent with them. He was a very special man.

I never met any man who was so caring, kind, generous, loving, and giving. This is to just to list a few of his characteristics. There are just too many to list. He always made sure he took care of everyone else. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone. I was very fortunate to know him and treasure the moments we shared. I will never forget his smile and loving, compassionate, gentle manner. He will always be in my heart in a very special place and will never be forgotten. It is a great loss.

You Were Always There
by Zac

Whenever I needed someone to talk to
You were always there.
My eyes filled with tears, my heart filled with pain, and
You were always there.
There was no time when I had doubt
to come to you because
You were always there.
I could see in your eyes you wanted to help, and that you really cared.

Whenever I was down and blue
You were always there.
No matter my problems, are what was wrong
You were always there.
Whenever I felt like nothing matters
You were always there.

Now your gone, and I don't know what to do
I close my eyes and think of you, and how
You were always there.
It's hard to look at the pictures, and get memories of you
Can you hear me now
At night I pray, and I speak to you
I guess you were right when you told me no matter how far you were
You would always be there.
I know one day I'll see you again, but till then I have to say goodbye

Even though it hurts to hear your name, and speak of you
One thing I will always say is
You were always there.

Anne, and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of grieving and loss. Bob was the sum of all things good & silly, that's why he was so loved and will be so missed. Bob was always kind, thoughtful, respectful, generous, and he had a great sense of humor. May God guide and comfort you and your family during this time of great loss.

To Anne, Linda, and Family,
I first me "Bid" when we were in the seventh grade at the Holten-Richmond Junior High School in Danvers. He was a kind, thoughtful, and generous guy. He was always concerned about others. I was looking forward to seeing him at our 40th class reunion next year. Whenever we all got together, we always shared funny stories and much laughter. He was a wonderful guy, and I am honored to have known him. My sincere condolence.

Dear Bidder Family,

I had the very much pleasure of working with Bob at Sun for many years in all those years, I had not met any person with such a great heart, warmest disposition and a great peer to work with. Although I had lived in California, I always looked forward to our Team Gatherings as it would give me time to spend with Bob. He was such a "gentle giant soul" and always had kind words to share with all. My prayers and thoughts go out to Bob but especially for the Huge loss to his family. Know we were all bless to know him. May the angels move over in heaven because here comes the best angel ever! Love, Gloria Robertson
