Anita and Maryanne,

Aunt Carolyn just told me that Uncle Bob passed away. You have my deepest sympathy. I speak for my entire Ristau family. I spent many a visit staying with him and Aunt Mary. It is so hard to lose a parent, but you must have many good memories to cherish. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear ones,
Frank and I so very much regret that due to distance and the winter season that we could not be there to support you at this difficult time.
We will always have nothing but the best kind of memories of times spent with Bob and Mary. They were always most kind and generous to one and all. As someone said to me at the time of my Dad's death, " He was so good. If he didn't go straight to heaven, no one does." It is a good line and applies here.

Bob was 35 years older than most of the people at Three Rivers Title Co. and when I started working there in 1979, I was told, stay away from the "old guy", he is not very friendly...well, I didn't listen and I talked to Bob and really got to know him and he was one of the sweetest and nicest people you ever met and a good sense of humor, boy was he funny...we were always kidding each other. People would say, "I can't believe you and Bob get along so well", it is easy when you are as nice and kind as Bob was. I still think of him all these years later and I always smile. I am so glad I got to know Bob. A wonderful, kind, loving and gentle man.
