Bob, Paul, Phil, Laura, Marc and families,
My deepest sympathy. Your parents and mine remained friends throughout the years. Certainly some of the gray hair came from the escapades of the neighborhood kids as we explored the north side of Tallmadge. There are a lot of good memories from those times. Keep them close.
A neighbor, a classmate, a friend.
I am very sorry I cannot be there with all of you. Dad was a wonderful person and so now we will have another guardian angel. All my love for all of you. Melody

We always referred to them as "Big Bob and Minnie Merle", they just went together. I remember as a child going to Ravenna to visit "Big Bob, and Minnie Merle", Bob was my dad's cousin. We always had a great time at their house, such wonderful memories of picnics, and family gatherings. He was a special man, who always made you feel welcome, he will be missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Lots of love,
Anne Del Monte (Tavoletti) and family, and John and Jean Del Monte

With heavy hearts we offer our condolences. Bob and Minnie Merle were wonderful neighbors on Zeta Street. A conversation with Bob was always a highlight of my day while living there. And our daughter (now 13) still cherrishes a blanket they gave her for her first birthday our first year next door. God bless! - The Lund-Goldsteins.

I knew you mom and dad threw square dancing for many years. My parents danced when they were alive, Alan and Gertrude Sparhawk. I have been in the ravenna store many times over the years and had seen your dad, and did xmas money cards thru them. They were great people, she was very soft spoken person,. I just had major surgury on friday so i will not be able to attend, if not i would have been there to pay my respects to a great man.I also danced for many years thru Western Whirlers, Canton Teens.
Laura, Bob, Paul, Phil, Marc and families,
Were so sorry to hear about Uncle Robert. I remember so many visits to Ravenna when we were kids. Your dad reminded me so much of my dad.
