My wife and I think of you often MSgt. Gigadi Gigadi
Rob, was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. I spent the majority of my life with him and would not change it for anything. He was my best friend, soul mate and husband for over 22 years. He was a proud Marine and was highly respected by many. He always thought of others first. We have two wonderful children together and I know he loved them so very much. I know they miss him very much and loved him dearly. It is still very hard to believe he is gone, and I think of him and miss him every second of every day. I will love him with all my heart forever!
The ceremony your parents Bobby and Dolly has in your honor was your celebration of life.so many attended and many spoke with love of you. I told them the duck story, you know the one,you and cousin chett were 9/10 yrs.old.You went fishing with me. I know you remember, because up until the last time I saw You, all I said was Duck and you cracked up laughing. I Love and miss You .You are in God's care now watch out for those jokes. Love You, Booby Ju. Your Aunty Claire (Buddy)

2004-2007 SCCO 4th PLT
I want to send out my prayers to the Dennis family for your loss. I was shocked when I heard the news. RIP MSgt Dennis you will be missed. You were one of the best leaders I ever served under!! Sgt Hubler
I had the distinct pleasure to serve with Rob during his deployment to Iraq with Small Craft Company. His outgoing personality, and can do attitude were infectious. A fantastic Marine, and a great buddy to keep up spirits in a far-off land. His "Disco Big Rig" was an awesome site rolling into Iskandariyah with brand new shiny SURCS. Though I hadn't seen him in a couple of years, I had on occassion reached out to him when he was at truck company. His passing is a shock to all, his loss is deeply felt throughout his Marine Corps family and especially among his Small Craft Company brothers. May he rest in peace, and my deepest sincerest condolences to his family.
Ill always remember the big disco rig (2004-2005 small craft), rest in peace Gunny. Motor T all the way.

I want to send out my prayers to the family of Robert Dennis for your loss. When I first heard the news I was sadden. Robert was more than an outstanding Marine, he was a great colleague, husband, and friend who had convictions beyond any person I've ever met in my lifetime. When I first met Robert at Camp Johnson, I realize we both shared the ideal of Family First! Robert believed that the family must be right before the Corps, and his positive values resonated with all that met him. As a retired Marine, I reflect on the life of Robert and realize that God blessed us with angel who wanted to help those who are in need. I pray that God Bless the family of Robert Dennis. RIP Robert, we miss you!
GySgt Tommy L. Brown Jr.
To The Dennis Family, I was so saddened to hear about your loss. May your special memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I'm so sorry for your loss. Robert was one of my Corporals at 2D ANGLICO, it was a pleasure to have served with him. I can still see that grin...
Rest in peace my "Angilcan Brother".
The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to MSG Robert Lee Dennis, Jr. our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Robert. And to Robert it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and other deployments while serving 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Robert, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot and a Marine warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace. Semper Fi.
On behalf of the 1,261 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Robert's family and loved ones.

Thoughts and Prayers are sent your way. May God keep you all in his loving arms during this time.
With a smile that was contagious it was hard not to have one on your face when he was present. He always knew how to make people smile and also had a great heart to talk you through a hard time. Finding someone like him was nearly impossible as he was one of a kind. He was a great husband, father, brother and friend and will be deeply missed. Love you!

Rob was the best brother a girl could have asked for. He always knew what to say to make you laugh or to bring you up when you were down. I remember when I was going to fly home to Wisconsin and it was my first air plane flight and he said he knew how to settle my fears, so he and I watched tv shows about planes crashing. LOL. Always the comedian. :) Rob you will always be in my heart and missed deeply. Kim, Brandon, and Brittney I love you all and send you all my hugs you can handle.
