Laura and family, our deepest condolences on Bob's passing. He was a wonderful man, we will miss him and his brilliant smile. God bless you, Steve & Judy LaBerge
Laura and family, our deepest sympathies. Did not expect Bob to leave us so soon but.... One could not meet a more congenial person. He got as much enjoyment out of his sojourn here on earth as anyone possibly could - and he did it without ruffling others (excluding spouses of course, HA). He left his mark on all who got to know him (we included). He slowed down only when he lost his ability, not his desire, to keep doing - a lesson for those of us that can still do and chose not to because there is always tomorrow (until there isn't and we didn't when we could have). Bob's love of life was infectious. We will miss him but he will be very welcome where he is going. Love from

We met Bob when my in-laws were residents in Station 4 at Meadows, (Jan 2010 - Oct. 2010). He was so sweet, kind and friendly. He was always cheerful. I always looked for him, could usually find him "making the rounds". He was a bright spot on station 4. My sympathy to your family.

My husband and I first met Bob when he became a resident of Meadows. We always enjoyed seeing him when we were visiting my father-in-law. After a few visits I started calling him Smiling Bob. We will never forget his smile. Your family has our sympathy.

Laura, Mark, Kelly, and family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of Bob. I just thought of him a couple of days ago. I happily recall the days and nights in the bowling alley where he helped me with my game. He was always willing and capable of assisting others with his greatness. I loved hearing his stories about his skiing adventures. Love, Gary Zogg

Bob was such a nice person to work with at State Farm. He was always pleasant and had a smile. My condolences to you and your family.
A wonderful man! Laura and family I am very sorry for your loss!
Laura, we have been friends since I came to Bloomington in 1966, and I cherish your friendship. Bob was a person who always had a smile that would light up a room. I never heard a harsh word from him, and I know he was well-loved by all who knew and worked with him. Rest assured he is in his heavenly home, either golfing or skiing, and having a great time. Diann and I loved seeing the two of you at Cracker Barrel and visiting with you. Our prayers are with you that God will confort you in your heartbreak. Bob will be waiting for you in Heaven, but stay here awhile for your many friends. We love you.
