We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Our hearts go out to your entire family at this difficult time. Bob was sweet, kind and funny. When he would come into the pharmacy where I work,we shared stories. We talked about Liz's class since Ethan is in it this year. He also would tell me about his children and their hobbies. Bob's face lit up when he spoke of his family. I wish I had known him longer. He was such a wonderful man. You are all in our prayers.

My deepest condolences to the Hill family. I have had the pleasure of brushing shoulders with Bob in Bethel High as he was a larger than life person, and in a good way. I remember Bob always having a smile and liked by everyone. For the few time we spoke in High School there were times in my life, for some reason I would think about Bob Hill as those few moments left a lasting impression with me.
I was told of Bob's untimely passing on Friday 2/15/2013 and I could not believe that a man that was so full of life had been taken from us all. As a person that has known Bob Hill since he was 17 I will truly miss him. We had many great laughs together over all the years either working together, hanging out, or attending baseball, football or NASCAR events together I always knew that if Bob Hill was there we were in for great time. Bob Hill will truly be missed. I remember when he met and fell in love with Liz because I always teased him that he was a case study for her because of his passion for life! I was so glad I stayed in touch with him to see the kid that I knew grow into the husband, dad and man he became. RIP BOB HILL. YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED!!
Bob always made you feel so good. When he talked to you, you were special. When he spoke about his family, his pride and love was beautifully fierce. Lizzy you had a wonderful husband and an exceptional father for your children. We are so very sorry that you lost him so young. God Bless and give you all strength and keep your faith...he's always with you. Love, Joel and Deb

Sandy and the Hill Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your lose, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Bob and I grew up together in Bethel. As young adults we spent alot of time at various gatherings and dead shows...I enjoyed his visits with JR when I lived in New Haven...Friday lunches at the Pigly Wiggly when we worked in Hartford (me and all the carpet guys!) I was lucky enough to attend his wedding and meet his lovely wife Liz...as we grew older he would visit our restaurant in Waterbury and I enjoyed listening to the stories about his children and was always amazed by how proud he was of them and what a loving family man he had become..in the truest sense. As time went on and our lives became more complicated I saw Bob less and less but whenever we were able to share a few momments together; whether it was on the phone or in person...it was as if we had just seen each other yesterday. Bob always made people feel as if they mattered...not just to him but to the world. I've never met anyone else quite like him and will miss him dearly. I'll always treasure the time we had together and the priceless memories he's left behind. My love, prayers and thoughts will be with him...and your family always <3
I am very sorry for your loss. Bob was a great guy. I will miss him more than words can express.
Bob was one of those people that whenever you saw him he just always made you feel happier than you were before. The entire Hunt family is so very saddened to hear this news. His legacy of kindness is so clearly seen in the decency and good heartedness of his son Riley. In the way Bob treated everyone, he was an example for all of us.
Liz, I am blown away by this news. I'm so very sad for you and your family. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Liz, Riley and Sarah,
Bob always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He will be missed. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Dear Liz, Riley and Sarah, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and Dad. Although I only had a chance to meet Bob in person once, I feel as if I know him well from the stories Liz has shared with me about her family. One story in particular stands out in my mind - about the time Bob encountered a ray while swimming on Block Island. Liz, no words can express my sadness and condolences for you and your children. Please know that I am here for you now and always. Love you.
Dear Liz, Riley and Sarah, So very sorry for your loss. Loved Bob and his "Hi Chickie!" whenever I saw him. One memory of many you will have to cherish: I went over to wish him a happy Father's Day (2012) and asked him what presents he received. He said "Oh Chris, I have what I want, my wonderful kids".
Such a wonderful, energetic, inspiring guy. The short time I spent with him and the rest of your family was unforgettable. You have my condolences, rest in peace Bobby, and my love to Liz, Riley, and Sarah.

When Bob and I would see each other I would say "Mr. Hill" and he would return my greeting by saying "Mr. Clinton". He would then shake my hand, and with his other hand he would hold onto my arm while we shook hands. The most sincere, honest and caring handshake was just one of Bobs great things he did for others. At that moment during those handshakes he made people feel like they were the most important person in the world to him. Thank you Bob.
Liz, Riley,and Sarah,
We are deeply sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was a wonderful father. I will always remember Tick's games with Bob. He was a fan of all boys and was so proud of Riley and Sarah.
Dear Liz, Riley, and Sarah, Our hearts go out to you in your time of need. Bobby was a great man and cousin to me all through High School being the "Big Brother" watching out for me. I will always remember his kindness and his ability to make you laugh when your spirits were low. We were all blessed to have Bobby touch our lives in someway! We always enjoyed catching up with Bobby at our Hill family reunions! We will continue to pray for you all! With Love from your cousin Brian & Joanne Hill
I knew Bob through work and to say he could make a bad day at work more fun than a good day at the beach is an understatement. He will be greatly missed and always remembered with a smile. My deepest condolences to the Hill family.

I went to high school with Bob, and he just always made me smile. My classmates have been talking about our great memories. He was someone special, and my thoughts are with you.
