I worked with Bob for several years at Shell and, since we were about the same age.we had a lot in common in terms of our time line. Bob, being more liberal, nick named me "Genghas Kahn,"

It was always such a pleasure and a light in my day to see Bob out in the yard. Even years after I moved away, coming home I looked forward to the kind words and cheery greetings from Bob & Jimmie. Mr. Jones, you were a blessing to know and will be greatly missed. Love and thoughts.

Bob was the picture of the neighbor and friend everyone wishes they could have. He would regularly take the stress out of my hectic workday with his humor. He would play with our dogs and even got them to fall asleep in his lap. He was the perfect stand – in grandfather for my daughters. He had a key to our house to let them in when they misplaced theirs. He gave them sage advice, always laced with humor so it sounded very appealing. I could go on – and will during our many future visits with our dear, dear friend, Jimmie. (Jimmie, you have been equally impactful in our lives as well as being Bob's perfect partner – thank you!) We will miss Bob, but will treasure him in our memories and honor him in how we live. What a great man, husband, father and friend.

Bob was the best father-in-law a daughter-in-law could hope for. His sense of humor was infectious and he passed it down to Bill! We will miss him dearly and so will his granddogs!

Working with and around Bob was one of the great privileges of my time at Shell. We all worked hard, but we sure had a lot of fun too! He had a special way of 'teaching' with humor that I've never encountered before or since! He was a one-of-a-kind class act.
