Judy and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I had known Bessie, Maurice and Bob for many years. I had the honor of singing at your bridal luncheon so many years ago. I work for Attorney Loring Paul Fluke and would speak with Bob quite often when he called our office.
My heartfelt condolences are extended to you and the family.
Ann (Sontz) Segal

So sorry to here about Bob. I've know him since the days of Freddy Gluck, the Daily Evening Item, Masons and the Security Trust Building. My condolence. Ron Hinds
To Judith and Bob's family:
I had the absolute pleasure of knowing and working with and against Bob over the course of my legal career and am glad to call him my friend. I am heartbroken to learn of his passing and offer my heartfelt sympathy to you all. Bob was a lawyer's lawyer, always frank and honest, both in his work and in his opinions of others, many times in quite colorful language. The bar has lost one of its great members, and Bob's clients have lost a fine advocate. He is now cruising among the stars. Bon voyage.
Having worked with Bob during his all-too-brief time at the Daily Evening Item, I'll always remember him as a quiet, true gentleman with a great sense of humor. It was a pleasure, Bob. Rest in peace.
What a shock.......I always enjoyed being with you an Robert.
Our prayers are with you in this time of loss.

Robert will always be in our memories, we enjoyed his company, laughed at his jokes and certainly more than respected his legal mind. Bob was a good friend and we miss him. Our love to you Judy, Fred & Priscilla--Intervale, New Hampshire

My deepest sincere condolences and sympathy to you and your family. Bob was a kind friend and mentor, who took his time to help me and several fellow colleagues. He made me and others laugh during the hardest times and he guided me with exceptional insight. Bob is dearly missed. Mernaysa Rivera

Judge, Probate and Family Court
There are no words to express the depth of sadness felt in the loss of a dear friend and colleague. His sense of laughter while sharing a good joke - while at the same time leveling a sense of calm and purpose during difficult situations will be greatly missed. And Judy, my dear friend - you have been a rock throughout it all. Your grace and dignity have served as an inspiration to us all. Thoughts and prayers go with you - with love - always - Julie
Judy, I was so deeply sadden by the news of Bob's passing. Bob was not only my Attorney but a very dear friend. Some of my favorite memories are of the dinners I shared with you and Bob at Anthony's Hawthorne Restaurant in Lynn and all the stories about your fun times cruising together. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
We have so many fond memories of Robert. However, we'll always remember him best relaxing by the aft pool aboard his favorite Holland America Line ship and, in the evening, well-dressed and tan, sipping a tumbler of Chivas with his beloved Judy by his side, at peace with the world.
When we're at sea, we'll toast to Robert and know he's at peace.
Bob was my classmate at Lynn Classical, class of '64. He was always confident about his potential and clearly proved himself correct by his successes and accomplishments during his life. Rest peacefully.
We have so many fond memories of Robert that it's hard to pick one. However, we think we'll always remember him on his favorite cruise ship lounging by the aft pool during the day and in the evening, tan and well-dressed, savoring a tumbler of Chivas with Judy by his side and at peace with the world.
We'll always raise a glass to him when at sea and know he's eternally at peace.
Attorney Marder was one of my favorite attorneys who I had worked with at Salem Superior Court. I worked in the civil clerk's office and he was a delight. He was a true gentlemen. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and I send my sympathy to his beloved wife. Betty Hinchion
It is with a deep sense of sadness that I have learned of Attorney Marder's passing. Bob was a consummate gentleman and most professional member of the bar. The legal community of Essex County has lost a fine attorney. He will be greatly missed.

I first met Bob Marder in the 7th grade at Breed Jr. High. We were friends all through high school and beyond. Bob had a quick wit and sharp sense of humor. Glad to have known you, Bob and rest in peace.

Bob was a wonderful friend and colleague. A great story teller and funny guy, he was a fine lawyer who took pride in his work and represented clients well. I enjoyed his company and our frequent conversations. Best wishes to Judy and to Alex.
Bob was my friend and colleague. I will miss his companionship, humor, knowledge and advice. Judy, may you be comforted among the Mourners of Zion.
