Connie, I have spent part of my afternoon looking more intently at this site, enjoying the pictures and reading more of the entries.
Mac and Bob were really good MCL buddies and brought strength to each other to fight the disease. They each had a great sense of humor along with a reality of what they were fighting.
As I watched the pictures several times,my thoughts were more in tune to specific memories of their past conversations, laughter, and sharing of information about Mantle Cell.
Bob's presence brought me joy as I listened to them.
I know Mac would be thrilled to know that we were able to connect. I have some things I would love to send to you that helped me along my journey. You can use my email address to contact me when you are able and when you have more time. I know you have much to do while at this same time you need rest after being the caregiver. Bob has been on my mind for the past 7 years/with a deep hope that his MUD transplant did bring a cure.
Connie, We are very sorry for the loss of Bob and extend our sincere sympathies to you & your families. We were out of town all last week and just learned of Bob's death. We will always remember his continuous optimism, his smile and the passion he had for his trains. You and Bob are a true inspiration to everyone. Fondly, Barb & Kevin Mahaney
Connie, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find some comfort in knowing how much your friends truly care and that we are praying for you.

Connie & Family
Extending deepest sympathy, for you in your loss. And hoping, too, that comfort and peace may come to you. You are in my prayers.
Words just cannot express the loss of my good Pennsylvania buddy Bob! I've known Bob since 1991 when my wife Licia and I joined Mt Pisgah UMC in Alpharetta. Bob and I hit it off immediately being 2 Pennsylvania boys deep in the heart of Dixie! Bob and I spent hours dicusssing his beloved railroads, the Nitney Lions, fly-fishing and the uniques qualites of "Rolling Rock" beer. I'll sure miss my every day or so phone conversations with Bob. We sure wanted him and Connie to make it back here to Montana again, but he ran out of time! He was a good friend, no, I'll change that to a "Best Friend", who fought a good fight, did his very best - but it was time for him to go home, and he did it with dignity!
Connie, David and I are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We will always remember him as a wonderful neighbor--especially his love of trains! Life had gotten so difficult, I know...but you guys somehow managed to get through things with such grace! Please know that we are thinking of you at such a difficult time. May you always be comforted by your wonderful memories. Fondly, Mindy and David Ellin
Connie: I am sorry I did not have the privilege of meeting your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
One of the Friendliest members I ever met in the NMRA. Even though I model a different scale(N) and do a different prototype(GTW RR);Bob always wanted to know what I had done lately(Armchair Modeling).I was looking forward to seeing him on the pilgrimage, but knew he was struggling with Cancer.I had to give up the Piedmont Division because of working Night shift so much, but I am sure going to miss him.Piedmont Division 1993-2004 and 1995 National Convention Tour Guide.
Sweet Connie, you're in my thoughts and prayers. You both fought valiantly and faithfully. I will continue to pray w you and I'm sorry I can't make the service.
Rev Gail Thompson
A Prince of a man and someone that I am very proud to say I had the privilege of serving. Bob was what we all aspire to be... a child of God and a man among men. He made a valuable contribution with the 60 years the Lord gave him.
Connie - May God's peace comfort you during such a difficult time. You continue to be in my prayers.
Embracing you with our thoughts and prayers.
Connie: All of us at Free Spirit Salon wish to express our deepest condolences at the sudden loss of our friend and client Bob.
As you know, my relationship with him was very dear. I looked so forward to his visits and to our conversations ranging from news happenings, to The Braves and Falcons.
To say that he will be truly missed is an understatement, He may have never known, but as a survivor his enduring battle was an inspiration to me on a daily basis, and I will never forget his always present smile or the many laughs we shared.
Please know that you our in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time and that I cherished the time I got to spend with Bob!
Connie, I am so very sorry for your loss. may you find comfort in your time of sorrow. God Bless you Shanna Buddy Katie Tara David and Maddie.
Connie and family, Helga and I are greatly saddened by Bob's loss. I well remember participating with the Walk to Emmaus #102 team ten years ago and Bob's focus on Isaiah 53:5. I still have the cup with the verse in my kitchen cupboard and lay director McIntyre on my heart. It is with Jesus' stripes that Bob is now healed.
Connie - The earth has lost a special soul, but Bob's love and positive influence on our lives remains. Please know that you and your extended family are in our hearts and thoughts in the many months to come. With much love to you.
Mr McIntyre was one of my favorite patients. I will always remember his jokes, his faith and his love for worship music. It was an honor to be his nurse for the last few years.
Connie, I'm so sorry. My prayers are with you and all your loved ones.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the McIntyre family. Bob was a great co-worker, mentor, and friend. I enjoyed our Penn State vs. Michigan battles! He will be missed.
Connie, I was so sorry to hear about Bob, he was a special person, he has gone on to keep your mom & Big Mama straight. I will be praying for you & if you need anything I am just a phone call away. I love you
God Bless you with comfort, Connie. Bob and you were always such wonderful people and witnesses and he always inspired me whenever I was around him. Blessings, Always!
We will always remember Bob as smiling and shining his light and love of Christ everywhere he went and with everyone he met.....especially at Mt. Pisgah UMC and the Walk to Emmaus. He displayed such a servant spirit and will be missed greatly by all of us! Much love and prayers for you and your family, Mike and Sue Hampton
Connie, May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. We will miss Bob terribly. John and Linda Farmer
Connie - We love you. And we loved Bob. What an incredible man of God who lived out his faith to the inspiration and spiritual benefit of so many of us. Our hearts ache for you today even while we rejoice with Bob as he entered heaven's gates in victory. We thank God for him, his testimony, and his generosity to pour himself out and into our lives. Much love -
May God bless you and your family in your time of sorrow. Bob was my co-worker in the 80's and 90's.
While we've never met, Bob's sister, Laurie, is a light in my life. Her loss is my loss by virtue of our friendship, so I hope you'll know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you move through this time of loss. May your faith in God and Christ sustain you.
Connie, May God bless and comfort you during this time in your life. I have you in my prayers.

Bob and I would like to express our deep admiration and love for you during this time. Your Bob was a fighter and ran his race with Jesus finishing well. What a legacy of faith he left! May God hold your hand and your heart during this time. May His love and peace fill you and overflow to include your entire family. God Bless you my friend. Bob and Deborah Holmes
Connie, I am blessed to have known Bob. What an incredible testament of true faith, both of you. I am so sorry for your great loss but I know as you grieve, you also rejoice with the angels for Bob has been made new again. Much love to you. Karen Hulbert
Bob was a good Railroad friend that would do anything he could to help you. For this reason I asked him to follow in my footsteps as the Piedmont Division Super. In this position he exceeded expectations! To say he will be missed by many would be a gross understatement. Bob had a positive effect with everyone he encountered which had to number in the hundreds if not thousands I truly believe. My best prayers and hopes go to his family during this difficult time. May God be with you and time ease your sorrow.
Just read this on Facebook. I think Bob was my husband's Mantle Cell Lymphoma friend at Winship and Emory in Atlanta. If so I would love to hear about Bob's journey these past 7 years since Mac died. I had hoped Bob's last MUD transplant had been a cure. So sorry about your loss. Beth Sells
May God's love comfort and sustain you as you go through
this sad time in your life. Many of us are praying for you as well as thanking God for Bob and his caring and love for others. God bless you. Love,Dossy McMahon
