Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Bob. He was my boss for several years at State Farm in Jacksonville, Florida. He was someone I looked up to and can only thank him for the opportunities he gave for me to advance in my job.
Diana, Elyse, Sean, & Guy, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Your Dad was one of the nicest, kindest, smartest people I've known, as was your Mom. They were awesome together and I take comfort knowing they are together again. God Bless you all.
I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was a co-worker, a mentor, but most of all a friend. He was a true leader and professional. When he and I had offices near each other, I would often go down with the intention to "vent" but always left with a different and better perspective and with a smile on my face.
Bob - You are no longer confined by the restraints of the world. I hope you are running, playing golf, and courting Phyllis in Heaven. I will miss you dearly my friend......
Sean, God bless you and your siblings for the loving care you gave your dad in his last years. God bless him for the patience w/ which he appears to have handled such a terrible and debilitating illness. All the pictures show a man who appeared to have made the best out of the hand life dealt him for his family's sake. What an example for all of you, and what an example he and you all have given to the rest of us. May his soul rest in peace.
Bob lived his life with enormous courage, dignity, and good humor. May he walk tall, united with his loved ones, while we remember his many acts of kindness. Rest in peace Big Brother.
My wife Debbie and I were privileged to work with Bob at the Glenwood Claims office in Decatur, Georgia, she as his secretary and me as a Claim Rep. He was always professional and was a great teacher, mentor and friend. We both admired and respected him tremendously. Praying for Peace and Comfort for his family. Although I never met his children, I felt as if I knew them all because of how proudly he spoke about each of them and their achievements.

I had the privilege of working with Bob for several years, especially during hurricane Hugo. I was amazed at how well he handled the responsibilites of his position. I know of no other person who could have handled it better.
Bob was truly one of those who made State Farm a better insuurance company. He hired and trained many people in the claims arena. His brilliant mind and extensive vocabulary kept us referring to our dictionaries. He made us better claims people through his leadership. As I paged through the pictures of him, I clearly remembered his smile and his ability to laugh when things were not so good. He was a strong leader who trained, corrected and protected those under his care.
I pray his family will have a peace that passes all understanding and the blessing to be grateful for Bob's time with them. May they relish the good memories they have and be proud of the positive influence he had on many.
When those who are honored to call Bob "friend", get together, we will speak of him in the highest regards. We will be thankful for the influence God allowed him to have, not only in our careers, but the impact he had in our lives.
May God bless Bob and his family with all the good things of His Kingdom.
I worked with Bob in Atlanta at State Farm in the claims office. I enjoyed his sense of humor and expertise. Sorry to hear of his passing....
