I knew Ron as my platoon leader in the 199th inf A co 4/12. The last time I saw him was on Feb.6th 1967.Lt Paramore was severly wounded that day.But he crawled through the mud trying to keep the survivors of our platoon fighting. He tried to keep us safe. We met again at our 2012 reunion at San Antonio. Well I will miss him .We were brothers. We went to war together.

Dear Judy and family,
I just learned that Ronnie was no longer with us and am deeply saddened by his passing. My heart and prayers go out to the Paramore family. I feel so fortunate to have spent time with him last year at the 199th Brigade reunion in San Antonio after many years of being apart. We truly forged a strong bond while serving as young lieutenants in the Army. We went through Airborne and Ranger school together and then served together in Company A 4/12 Infantry of the 199th Brigade as it trained for Vietnam and then after it deployed to Vietnam. As I write this, I remember the tears I shed when we hugged the day he was wounded. We were young brothers in arms and I was so proud of him. He was a true soldier and a great friend! I just wish we could have spent more time together prior to seeing each other last year. We had stayed in touch since last year and had talked about doing just that. I know he is in a wonderful place now and I thank God for bringing us back together again. I will miss him!
Judy and Scott, I am so very sorry for your loss. Ronnie was such a sweetheart. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Love you, Pam Sheffield Adkins

Judy, Scott and the rest of the Paramore family,
Ginger and I are truly sorry for your loss and our prayer for you is to lift you up in the grace of God and his unyielding love. Ron was a wonderful individual and I considered him to be a friend and shipmate. Though we were in different branches of the service we were still brothers-in-arms. Ron has now joined the elite honor guard standing tall and ever vigilant at Heaven's gate to greet and welcome those coming after him home to the Lord. May the Lord continue to watch over you and comfort you in this time of loss. Rich and Ginger Curbello

So very sorry for your families loss. I am so glad I got to talk to Ronnie at the '55th reunion of the Gophers. He signed my shirt and we talked about Hawaii. I hope he enjoyed the get together and so sad that it was his last. One day we will have a grand reunion heaven and it will be the best ever.
Remember the good times, he will always be in our hearts.
Ronnie was a little older so I looked up to him. He loved my Cuz' Judy, drove slick cars and was one of my heroes on many levels. Equally funny and serious, good natured and loved his family and country to the utmost. An excellent man.
