Ronny was such a big part of my family growing up. My brother and he were best friends. I had recently tried to locate him. Lots of fun times with him and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Ronny was the best friend I had with HEB. I will never forget him.
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I've known Ronny almost 19yrs and considered him a friend. I was his Loss Prevention Manager at every HEB store Ronny worked at since his days at Pasadena 2. He was one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest and most giving men I know. I would have moved mountains for him. Ronny is already greatly missed. I know those who loved him and those he loved now have a wonderful guardian angel.
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family during this difficult time.
Ronny, meant so much to his HEB family! He was always there to listen to us , and laugh at the crazy things that happened! You would ask how things were going, and his standard reply was, " Just another day in Paradise," Well , now that's literally true! Deepest sympathy to Beth, Helen, and Ronny's wonderful children!
I just wanna say you were truly loved in and after life!! You had a heart of gold and you will be missed we love you!!!! Gone-But-Never-Forgotten!!!
I grew up with Ronny as a family friend. He was always so caring and sweet. Always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.
Ronny hired me at the HEB Beamer store nearly 15 years ago and I followed him to the Friendswood store until he left to work in Alvin. Since then I would see him occasionally either at the Alvin store or at some kind of meeting at the Friendswood store. It was always nice to get that bear hug from Ronny. I will miss the occasional bear hug at the any surprise meeting. He will greatly be missed and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
You only had to meet Ronny once to never forget him, he was such a kind and sweet man. I remember how much Linda adored him and how wonderful he was to his mom. I remember how proud he was when Brian and Kyle became Eagle Scouts, just like he and Bob before them. I know how much he loved each of you,his family. Beth, Lucille, & Bob, I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.
I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these trying times. Ronny was a good guy.
I worked for Ronny years ago at the beamer location. It was a nice surprise when I saw him working at the Alvin store. I would see him almost daily. He truly was a nice guy. My prayers go out to his wife and family. God bless......
I am so sorry that Ronnie has passed away. I went through high school with him, and also worked with him @ Safeway during our high school & San Jac years. I know he's in a much better place. God bless him and his family!

Dear Duke family it is with deep sympathy that I write this with a loving heart. Ronnie was such a sweet man. He was so sweet to my mom last year when it was her birthday (86) and gave her some roses courtesy of the store. I can relate to what your going thru my husband died 7 years ago at work ....He too was a grocery manager for over 35 + years... The grocery business is hard on there employees and harder yet on there family..
May you find peace love and understanding as us adjust to your future.. Ronnie will be greatly missed..
Have a blessed day

Beth, we are so sorry for your loss. The Alvin Rotary Club has lost a fine Rotarian and friend. Last December while planning a Christmas Party for the foster children in Brazoria County I was buying last minute items and Ronnie ended up donating almost all of the items. He never stopped giving to the Alvin Community and will be missed so much. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Beth, we were so sorry to hear of your loss. Your family in Corpus will be praying for you and your family. We can't be there, but we will be in our hearts and thoughts. Love and prayers, Carole and family.
He was so good to the Alvin community. My daughter and I were in the store several weeks ago. We were approaching the check out line and Ronny was doing some tidying up. He found a basket that needed to be put in the proper place. He began to back up with it and I said, "Ronny, are you trying to run over me?" He was so surprised and continued to apologize. I told him I was just giving him a bad time. He continued to apologize - so Ronny. What a great guy.
Beth, I am saddened to hear about Ronny's passing. I wish I could be there, but I wont be able to. My best to you at this time. He was one of the truly great guys and Im glad we were family. I will miss him!!
Ronny was one of my favorite patients. I always enjoyed visiting with him. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that we were both Rotarians. I looked forward to seeing him when I visited the Rotary Club of Alvin. Heaven has gained a good man. We are going to miss you till we meet again.
I am so shocked and saddened at this news! Ronny was my first boss when I started at the Beamer location over 15 years ago! He always took the time to talk and laugh, and he was the Greatest Manager in the world. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
Always a smile and great sense of humor.
I only worked with Ronny for a year in Alvin and he left a lasting impression. He was such a great manager to work for and always encouraging in my career with HEB. Everytime I came to visit , he would always want to hear about what I was doing now and we would sit and talk. He would always give me advice and always was very encouraging . My husband & I will miss Ronny . Praying for my Alivin HEB family and for you and your family Beth. Veronica@ Ennis HEB

Beth and family...I am so very sorry to hear of Ronny's passing. Ronny was my boss at the Beamer and Friendswood store and he was such a kind and gentle man. Ronny worked with us here at Crockett #287 years ago. He was a stand up guy who treated everyone with dignity. He was a man of character and he will be missed. Your family will continue to be in my prayers and I really do know your pain because I lost my husband on July 17 just a few weeks ago and he was also born in 1955.
