Rose Marie and I went through school together - kindergarten through grade 12. We spent our summers playing together through the '30's not really knowing how bad the Depression was - only that we had what we needed. Rose Marie's aunt was ever present as were my parents. We didn't see much of each other after high school but always kept in touch. I feel like I have lost some of my lovely memories of childhood with her paswsing.

Did not take long to realize how special Rose was to everyone she touched. She will be greatly missed by many.
My deepest sympathy to the Strait family.
Kathy and Dan, We know you will miss your Mother very much. Always remember the good times and reflect on what an amazing and funny lady she was. Our deepest sympathy.

Rose will be missed by all her P.E.O. Sisters in chapter Z and all over North Carolina and internationally.
My deepest sympathy to the family. I enjoyed working with Rose. I will keep the Holland America coaster (from her around the world cruise)on my desk as a fond reminder of her kindness. I am sure she will be sadly missed.
I feel very blessed to have known this special lady.
Both Sterling and I send our dearest love to Roses family. She was a dear lady and a wonderful P.E.O. Sister to me. Please know that you have our deepest sympathy. We shall remember Rose for all the joy she brought to all of us. God. Bless. Anita and Sterling Hennis
