I miss you so much dad. I sure wish I could talk to you
Dear Linda, Bryan and Lacee...I was so sad to hear about Roy. He was always one of my favorite daddy's. Lacee, I enjoyed every minute spent with you growing up. Your daddy was always so tall, sweet and fun. Although we are all grown up and are big girls now, your family will always hold a special place in my heart. Love and prayers. Danielle Taber

Linda, I am so saddened by the news of Roy's passing. What a sweet and gentle spirit he was. So loving and talented. I never knew you happier than when you married him, the love of your life. You and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers now and always. Love Kathy "Kid"
I was surprised to learn during a party at Roy's and Linda's that both Roy & I were born in Frederick. Of course he was born several years later. It just does not seem right that someone as nice as Roy sould be gone. jerri brigham
Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Mary Hightower Wilson, Cache, OK
Dear Linda, My prayer for you is for abundant peace through each decision and task before you in coming days, for the warmth and comfort of family and friends who are here to listen, laugh and cry with you, and for the Holy Spirit's presence beside you in quiet moments. Peace to you and the children.
To Roy's family I extend my sympathy. I knew Roy as "Sleepy" from a part he played in high school at Hammon, OK. He was a person who made you trust & love him just by being with him. I can certainly imagine him in his role as father & husband as Linda writes. May God walk with you and grant you peace as you tackle the coming days.
Dear Little Sis,
So sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I wish I could be there with you. Please take care and know I'm here if you need anything.
Roy was a special man, who will be sorely missed. May you find comfort in the love of friends and family, and in the grace of God. We shall meet again.
I worked with Roy for the State for many years. He was a pleasure to know. He made all 12 of my grandkids a footstool with their names in block letters. They so much loved them. Linda you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
To the Roy Hughes Family,
St. Joseph and Jesus now have a great friend and master craftsman to work with!
Roy was such a wonderful man, always had a smile and a cheerful word, and saw beauty in things many of us would have dismissed as having no magic. I AM ONE OF THOSE LUCKY ONES WHO POSSESS ONE OF HIS MAGICAL MASTERPIECES!
Jonsey "Linda", Roy made all of us so happy just being around him. You made a great choice in a husband, father, and soulmate.
My heart breaks for all of you but I am so grateful I can say he was a part of my life.
I pray for Our Lord's peace and grace to fill you and your family with peace.
Roy truly was our earthly example of God's measure of what a human being can be.
I love you, Jonsey.
YOUR SISTER, SUSIE STYRON
Our hearts are broken. Roy always brought joy and laughter with him wherever he was. He had a way of making everyone feel special. We loved him dearly! So blessed to have known him all these years. Our love to you all!
We will miss our special friend, Roy. He was a great friend, great husband, and great father. I remember the day he was baptized, he had such a peaceful, refreshed look on his face. He always had a smile or a hug for us. Linda, we were all blessed by having Roy, you, and the kids as our friends. May God comfort you in the days to come.
In memory of a truly God-filled man. What an example he has been to all of us who knew him. He will be deeply missed. Linda, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
To Roy's (Sleepy) Family: We are old Hammon friends and classmates. Roy was a refreshing breathe of air when one was in his presence. We have enjoyed seeing him throughout the years. His laughter, smile, and fun attitude will be sorely missed. We are sorry for your loss. May God be with you.
Our lives will never be the same without Roy. Love to Linda, Bryan and Lacee!
