Mrs. Olson is my sister-in-law's mother. I have know her for over 20 years and all of us as a family have shared many happy moments together. She is a wonderful and compassionate soul who I am glad to have met in this life. She will be misssed and remembered.

I have had the luxury of knowing Rue for about a year now.I met her when her daughter Cathy and I started dating. From day one I could tell that family and church where the most important things in her life. She clung to those like it was her favorite teddy bear.Rue had too many fine qualities to mention. I see alot of these qualities in her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. Jeff McDowell

I worked with Rue on the IAA Building Committee that over sighted COUNTRY Financial's involvement with the library. She always did her best for those she served. My sympathies on your loss. Deanna Frautschi

Rue was my boss from 1979 until her retirement in 1996. She hired me and within a few months of my employment my mother passed. She came to my mother's visitation and was there for me as though she had known me all my life. She also went to the doctor with me a few times. Rue was a very good person and I feel privileged that I got to know her. I feel like she is already the director of "God's Library." Rue will not be forgotten.

My deepest sympathies to all of Rue's family. I worked for Rue in the IAA Library in the late 70's. She was a wonderful boss who inspired all of us with a love of libraries and library work. She focused on her employees' success even more than her own. Because of her support, I was able to take advantage of tuition aid at work and begin my Master's degree. She was also a role model for women in management at a time when that was not as common. I feel lucky to have known Rue Olson.

Rue was my boss at the Farm Bureau from 1978 to 1987, but you wouldn't categorize her as a boss. She was a mentor before the concept became popular. She had confidence in me and gave me a lot of responsibility when I was still quite young and I have tried to emulate her approach in my own career. She will not be forgotten

My prayers for all of Rue's family. I've known Rue for many years when I worked with the System and her kindness and love for others was always sincere. She was a wonderful lady who will be missed, but Heaven has gained another angel! I rejoice for Rue's happiness now and am confident she heard the words "Well done!" last Sunday evening! God bless you. Laura Kessler, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, formerly of the Alliance Library System.
