It has been a few years since I have last touched the piano. But during all the years I have played the piano, Mrs. Enns made playing fun and I always had a great experience with her. Not only was she a wonderful teacher, but she gave me a lot of great advice and an ear to lend to me. I don't regret anything when it came to learning from Mrs. Enns. So while I am sad to hear of her departure, I also want to say how grateful I am that I got to make memories with her. Mrs. Enns was funny, wise, and an amazing teacher. Her smile brightened my day and her nicknames for her students were charming and warm. She shall be remembered very fondly.
We are so sad to hear of your loss. We enjoyed taking piano lessons from Mrs. Enns and are forever grateful for all she taught us. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Richard and family,
Grandma Music was very special to our family and will really be missed by many! She was so passionate for music and teaching children to love it also. Our kids were no exception. She loved our kids and it showed and our kids loved her so much also. She taught our kids to play piano, perform recitals properly, and both passionatly.
And most of all, she was one of the kindest people I have ever known. When I lost my job and my wife was a stay-at-home-Mom, she insisted that we not pay until we got back on our feet!
We all also loved how cute it was when she would yell for Richaaaaard to do something for her!!haha
Love and miss her and I am sure she is enjoying heaven in song!

Mrs. Enns taught me to love music, and at the same time was always the most joyful and loving piano teacher. My childhood would have been a lot less happy without her. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Enns was my Kindermusik/piano teacher in the early 90's. I still remember my first glockenspiel lesson with her! She instilled in me a love of music that will last a lifetime. Thank you. You will be greatly missed.
Ruth was a dear friend and wonderful teacher. My sympathy to all the family.
Dear Uncle Rick, Eric & Erin, Megan & Paul
We send our love to each of you today in memory of Ruth. I'm sure there is a grand celebration in heaven. As my sister Tammy says Ruth is playing God's piano and singing with the angels.

Well, what can be said about Ruth Esther? She was a deeply caring, loving and fun individual. Her encouragement over the last 41 years has been priceless. My mother, sisters, children, and I took piano and voice from her for many years. She will be sorely missed for sure. Mrs. Enns, I will see you again sometime, and we will sing the duet we always wanted to sing...for eternity.
My condolences for your loss. I enjoyed visiting your house during our Friends U. days, your Mother was such a kind lady and very welcoming. I too lost my Mother recently and it's a loss like no other, but it does gets easier. Praying for you and your family.
Stephanie Allen (Moreno)
Dear Erin, Rick and I wish to extend our sincere sympathy to you at the loss of your mother. Take refuge in the love of our Lord Jesus. Love, Rick and Marsha Jaso
Erin, I extend my sympathy to you and your family. Rest in peace knowing that she is in heaven and you will see her again some day. I lost my Dad a year ago, so I know how you will miss her.
Mrs. Enns planted the love of music in me as soon as I started taking lessons from her in the third grade! Then when I needed a job she gave me one and helped to encourage my love of teaching. She was one of a kind whether she was telling me stories about her life or playing duets between different students she always tried to make me smile. She will truly be missed but I am so glad that I have all of the wonderful memories of her!
Erin and family,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. My sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time.
Mr.Enns, Eric, and Erin, and the extended family of Mrs.Enns....she will always be 'Mrs.Enns'.....started me on the path of music with piano lessons in 3rd grade, and was such a wonderful person...so many fond memories, especially of such things as a rather cramped piano recital in the house on Gow Street....loved her to pieces....I am sure you all have many memories of her to help you thru your loss.....our love and prayers to all of you...
I knew Ruth when we were both a part of the Wichita Piano Teacher's League.
Ruth was such a great person and piano teacher to my children, who are now grown with children of their own. Thoughts & prayers to the family.

Condolences from all of us in the Mullen/Sowell family.
Ruth and Norma are probably playing duets together again...
I began taking piano lessons from Mrs. Enns when I was in high school after years of lessons with various other piano teachers over the years. Her love of music was contagious and influenced me in so many ways.I still think of her often, especially when I play various pieces of music I learned under her instruction. She will continue to live on through her many students as we attempt to emulate her teaching skills & style with students of our own. God bless you and your family, I know you will miss her.
Richard was my 4th grade teacher and Ruth was my piano teacher 40+ years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
Ruth gave my son a great start on the piano and the love of music. She will be missed. Doris Cannon(Anton)
Mrs. Enns was my piano teacher back in 1975. I studied under her for 7 years. She was so wonderful and fun. I will never forget her warm personality and genuine love for music and her students. She taught me so much, and now at age 45, I am a piano teacher myself. I owe so much to her and will never forget her. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you.
To our cousin Richard and family,
We are sad to hear of Ruth's leaving her family, but we know she is home in heaven. May you have wonderful memories and great faith in our Lord and His promises! With our prayers, Allen and Belva Warkentin of Shafter, CA
