My fondest Memories was the times she and I would go out just for the sake of going out. Reading street signs and "playing with words" as we drove along. I will always look at Higley rd in Mesa, AZ and remember the rhyme..."Higgilty piggelty my black hen...."

I love you Granny, you always had faith in me even in my darkest hours. Always quick to help others in need no matter the circumstances. You are a beautiful woman who led a wonderful life. I thank God for every minute of every day because without your guidance I would still be lost. You were a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a caring friend, and a wonderful sister. Your memory will live on in others lives.

P.S. I told you that you held a special place in everyones heart, and that you made a bigger impact on the community then you realized.

Ruth was a memorable character. She was kind, unintentionally humorous, and warm and welcoming to all of her daughters friends. I hope she is as much fun in heaven, and can the other angels laughing. You are missed, sweet lady. You were loved.

granny:
she's different;
very special.
Her beautiful green eyes sparkling like a million stars lighting the darkness, and letting love shine through.
her face gives of such a radiant beauty.
we long to see her sweet, beautiful and honest smile.
Her kisses were so soft and gentle; and her hugs were so loving.
she had such a loving heart.
Our hearts cry crimson tears,
for such a great loss.
we will miss you,
and someday we will see you again. Love, Chantal, Cheriese, Tobie.

Ruthy, eventho we weren't family, you treated myself and my kids like apart of your family. You are a grasious lady and led a wonderful life. You spoke of many things and places you have done, when you were younger. You are a great person and truely enjoyed your time with ALL your family around you ...and lets not forget Hotdog.
The last day we spoke and spent time together you talked about many things; my cuite nose,my dark blue eyes, and my sweet smile. You also spoke of your Michelle and Treasa and how much you love them sooo.

My sister Ruth, just 2 years younger than me, was taken from us all too soon. I had plans to share more special moments with her like the numerous times we visited and trips we took together. She was a dear and wonderful person, loved by all of her family and friends. May God be with you all.

My mom was so much fun to be around. Even grocery shopping was fun. She'd frequently stop to talk to folks she did not know just to say how much she liked
their hair or their clothes. She made everyone smile.
When I was growing up one of our favorite things to do was pack a little sack lunch and go to Los Feliz to check out the thrift stores and then on the way back stop off at Griffith Park have a picnic lunch.
She introduced me to replicas of famous artworks at Forest Lawn, a love of art endures to this day because of her.
I will always carry a piece of Momma with me where ever I go.
I am glad I was able to keep my promises to her and make her last years full of love and joy.

My little sister embraced the Catholic church from her teenage years on, and fimly believed that she would be reunited with her daughter, Michelle, who died at age 5, when the Lord took her home. She was my best friend and we had many hours of delightful conversation on the phone when we could not be together. I will miss her and those conversations so much. My love and prayers will be with her always.

My sister Ruth was one of the kindest, most non-judgemental people I have ever known. She was so thoughtful, always thinking of others first. I always looked forward to her coming home to visit when I was young. We always had so much fun together...perhaps not doing what teenagers should have been doing, but we had a great time. I can't believe she is gone and she will be greatly missed.
