It was a privilege to know Sam. He was like a grandfather to me. I experienced first hand his kind and loving nature, his ability to give, and also to have fun. He will be missed. I still think of him and the effect he had on my life.

Thank you for sharing your sweet father with our team. We enjoyed each visit with him, and hope we made his last year more peaceful, and made his pain bearable. I know he is at peace, and looking for new mountains to climb.

Judy, we loved your Dad. He was a bright, shining star and example to everyone. His testimony was a wonderful gift to many and we admired him very much. We know you will miss him, but we also know that he is happy and fulfilled, having given his all while he was here.

Judy, our hearts and prayers are with you. You have been so strong and loving with your Dad these last days of his life. It was such a pleasure to get to know him and the kind of man that he is. We know he is in a joyful and loving place, and at peace with his Maker.

We love you, Sam. Our lives are far better because you were in it. It saddens us that you had to suffer so much at the end, but now you are free to climb another mountain. Say hello to Dorothy for us and save us a place at dinner table at the Family Reunion. We all look forward to seeing you again.

Much Love,
