I never met Sandy but heard many wonderful stories about him from my Mom, Gail Brown Kingsley. I was with Mom in California, visiting, when Sandy passed and when Shirley called my mom. Mom kept Sandy in her heart always and thought he was such a special person. Our family is very sorry for your loss Shirley, and for the Brown family. Loving thoughts and prayers out to all of you.

Oh my. He was such a special man. He has been a part of my life, all my life. Through him, we shared memories of Big Momma and Big Button. So many shared feelings and so much love. Shirley and Sandy came to stay with us during Dad's last illness. Their love and presence helped us get through a difficult time. Every day Sandy would go to the hospital and sit with Dad. God bless you, Sandy. See you in heaven. Love Ginny Estes.

Sandy was a wonderful man. So easy to see why my mom fell in love with him. Such an intense personality, yet loved Disney movies !!!!! You never knew what to expect. He will be missed, yet remembered by all who had the chance and luck to know him. Love you Sandy! We will keep an eye on the pelicans for you. Kerry and Toni

Sandy was married to my Aunt Shirley. Aunt Shirley is my Mom's Sister. Indeed, Sandy was the Love of Shirley's LIFE! Never have I met such a sweet man....both inside and out. He had a wonderful sparkle to him that is hard to explain unless you knew him and if you knew him, you know what I mean! He was confident, sweet, caring, funny, compassionate and loved his life and travel with my Aunt. There were quite a few years when my Mom and Aunt did not see eye to eye. Both Sandy and I forged forward to find a way that they could reconcile and they DID! This allowed quite a few years of visiting with them and enjoying the love you could see so easily between them. Now more than ever, it is a blessing that Shirley is not that far from us....in Dallas. I will miss you Sandy..... your quiet demeanor, yet spunky personality. And I am here for my Aunt for anything she needs....I love you Aunt Shirley....Karen

Shirley, my heart and prayer go out to you this day. God will comfort you in the time ahead. The good memories will comfort you always. As we walk through the winter of life, we are not alone. Sandy was a good friend to me and many.
