Very saddened to hear about Shari's untimely death. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Lois Sheridan Harris Sutton
I am so saddened to learn of Shari's passing. I knew her through IFMA and she was a true professional.
I will deeply miss Shari and my prayers are with you all. I worked with Shari for almost 12 years while at IFMA. We bonded while looking up Jewish receipes on Weight Watcher's online. I'd find the receipe and she would prepare it. She will be remembered always with fond memories.
I am shocked and saddened. Shari willl be truly missed by her many friends and colleagues. I was fortunate to have met Shari through IFMA. She was always such a kind, intelligent, professional and warm person. Please accept my condolences.
I am so sorry to hear of Shari's passing. I knew Shari through IFMA. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Shari's family.
Shari, I thank you for being a kind and helpful person. You were only a phone call away and always did your best to make our lives easier. My prayers are with your family and friends.
Shari and I were friends through IFMA for a number of years. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing and send my heart felt condolences to her family. May God bless and keep her family.
We worked with Shari at PPAI in Dallas. She was a sweet spirit with a bright mind and a grounded personality. We're so sorry for your loss and we'll be praying for you and your family.
I will miss Shari! What a wonderful shining light she was to so many of us that were blessed to know her at IFMA. My heart goes out to her family.
Shari and I worked together at PPAI/SAAI. She was a steady friend while my mother was dying, and helped me through the emotional aftermath. When I received my CAE designation, she was among the first to call with congratulations. Shari and Joe opened thier home to my family on more than one occasion while we were vacationing. These are memories my son treasures. In fact, she babysat my son when he was a newborn, giving me a needed break. She was a true friend that I will always treasure. I will miss her more than words can say. My most heartfelt condolances to Joe, Anna, Jessica and Judy.
Shari and I were classmates in the MBA program at Texas A&M and worked together on some projects. She posessed a sharp intellect and figured things out quickly. She had a quick wit and a wry sense of humor and was fun to work with. Reading of her professional success following graduate school was truly gratifying. I am shocked and saddened to learn that she has passed on. My sympathies to her husband and family.
What a loss for the research community in Houston. Shari was a long-time client of mine while she was at IFMA. She was meticulous and demanding (great traits for a researcher), but always friendly and easy to work with. She will be missed.
Jacob Geller is sad to hear of such tragic news in the family of a long time friend.
My heart is heavy with sorrow for you and family. I have known Shari through our professional connections in the association world and greatly admired her work. She will missed. Blessings to the family.

I worked with Shari at IFMA for many years and while working together we became friends. Shari was a kind and caring friend. Always patient and always seeing the bright side of things, especially when it came to projects that had difficult deadlines. She deeply cared for others and wanted the best for anyone that came across her path. I will miss her.
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I never met her, if she was married to you she must have been very special. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Joe - my deepest condolences to you and your daughters.
I have no idea how to say anything that would help at this point. I am so saddened by your loss. Words don't really express my feelings.

I was privileged to work with Shari on many of her benchmarking studies as an IFMA member and was delighted when she attained her CAE designation.
You were a consummate professional, Shari, in every way. Thank you for the honor of calling me your friend.

To Joe, Anna and Jessica,
Although I never formally met Shari; my son is in Jessica's class at BYDS (Alex Lavine) and he speaks very highly of sweet Jessica. That being said I can only imagine Shari was equally as sweet and lovely and will be missed by her loving girls and husband. What a shock to the community. May your entire family feel the love and support from this community and hopefully allow you some peace and comfort soon. Our family thinks of you very often.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I knew Shari through her work at IFMA and enjoyed her enthusium and passion for doing things right. She had a kind heart and great spirit.
To my dear friend Judy and the Epstein Family - No words can adequately describe how sorry I am for the loss of your beloved sister, wife and mother, Shari. From all accounts, she was a most remarkable, hard-working, modern wife and mother - and treasured sister - and an inspiration to friends and associates. Know that I am here for you, Jude. With love, affection and tears...
To Shari's family & friends:
I only know Shari professionally, and through that brief connection she shared with me her smile, confidence, friendship and positive nature. I remember fondly an IFMA World Workplace event where I walked away from an encounter with Shari thinking, "Wow, she doesn't even know me that well and she treated me like I was special and important." At that moment, I vowed to work at emulating her character!
I'm so sad for your loss, but hope for you a full future filled with awesome Shari memories.

With My Deepest Sympathy
As a GBTA Foundation Board member, I was saddened to hear the tragic news. Even though I have never met Shari, I regret that, since from the entries in this book I can see that she will be terribly missed. My prayers go out to her family. In deepest sympathy.
Dear Joe, Anna, Jessica and Judy,
I met Shari about 20 years ago when I became a volunteer member of IFMA's Research Committee, which Shari chaired. She made me feel welcome, comfortable and treated me and my ideas with the utmost respect. Over the years I worked with Shari on many projects while I served in a number of volunteer postions including a couple of terms on the board of directors. Most recently I was working with her on the last project she did for IFMA. During all those years Shari was always the ultimate professional. She understood how to work with volunteer leaders as well as paid staff and management. That is often rare in the not-for-profit world. She was smart. She was well grounded. She asked for other's opinions and listened. She always stayed above the fray. I think her work was often underrated, but her efforts played a very large part in IFMA holding such a great reputation as being the authority on facility management. I always enjoyed our work together and am gald I called her a friend. Whenever we spoke of personal matters the love and pride for each of you came through loud and clear. We last exchanged emails just a couple of weeks ago and she was talking about how things all have a way of working out. It goes without saying how shocked and sad I am at Shari's passing. My wife Jackie and I extend our deepest condolences. Please know our thoughts are with you.
Stanley and I were shocked to hear about the untimely death of Shari. She was a lovely woman married to a wonderful man (and from what I found online, a very successful lawyer). I always had a soft spot for you and Patti and want to express our family's sadness on your loss. We do not have your most recent address so I was delighted to find this guest book to express our concern.
Most sincerely yours,
Annette and Stanley Blaugrund

Dear Joe, Anna & Jessica ~ I can't express how sorry I am to learn about Shari's passing. She (and you, Anna!) was such an integral part of the success of the Berry Family Rummage Sale, and we will never forget her loving commitment to a cause Ann & I held so dear. Please know that so many people are sending you love, and strength. We share your deep sorrow. With love, Marcie Baker Turrin
Joe, Anna and Jessica – My thoughts and my prayers have been with you since I found out. It is such a tragedy and I am heartbroken. I'm praying for your peace and that hearing from all the people that cared about Shari brings you some comfort. I am so incredibly grateful that I had Shari with me during the last several months as we dealt with leaving an organization and jobs we loved and embarked on a search for our next career. She and I became friends rather than just colleagues and she was so helpful and encouraging. I am going to miss her very much. Shari was always so smart and straightforward. And you always knew her family was the center of her world and could see the love she had for you. Thinking of you today.
Dear Joe, With deep regret did we learn of your loss and although we know the inadequacy of words at a time such as this, I would like you to know that we feel both with you and for you. We know how dear Shari was to you and can only hope that in time the pain will go away and you will be left with only the beautiful memories. Fondly, Lea (F&J) and Murray Shenker
