Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family in your loss of Steve,
Steve was a coworker, great team member and friend. I was CEO at SelfCHARGE where Steve was Senior Manufacturing Engineer. He was extremely competent as an engineer and had a wonderful way with people. He was very well liked and over the years that we worked together, we became good friends.I always thought of him as a "salt of the earth" good guy that personified what is good about Americans.
We stayed in touch after parting company and it always seemed as though no time had passed when we met or talked on the phone.
He was a really great guy who was uniformly respected and liked by his coworkers. I am proud to have called him friend.
Loren Lyon, Former CEO SelfCHARGE
I've had the pleasure of working with Steve over the last 12 years and have seen what an amazing person is is. He was motivated, always encouraging and driven to make things better for everyone. I truly respect him and am inspired by his legacy. He will be deeply missed. Sending prayers of comfort to Dawn & his Boys.
Dear Jean,Charles & Family, Just want you to know we are thinking of you. We were so shocked by the news and we can't even imagine how it was for the family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Dawn, Charles, Jean, Debbie, and family,
Karen and I were in shock when Debbie called and told us of Steve's passing. We have known Steve since he was 10 years old, went through school with my daughter, and was involved with us in church and youth group.
I cannot tell you how I am feeling. It is a mixture of all kinds of emotions. We should not have to bury our children.
I struggle to find answers, and ask God to comfort us during this time of loss. I know he will give us comfort, it just might take a little time.
We will be praying for you especially in the next few difficult days ahead.
I will also pray that you have wisdom to share with the children as they will have many questions in the future.
May God bless you even in this great loss.
Our love to you, Mike and Karen

Dear Dawn, Nathan and Ethan,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He was such a wonderful role model for all of our boys in Cub Scouts. I remember one specific project we were working on(building birdhouses) that Spencer and I had fallen behind in completing, when who arrived at our sides, but Steve...kindly asking if we needed any help finishing up. He took extra time with us, until the project was completed, so Spencer could feel proud of his accomplishment. He was always there for everyone, with a kind smile and helpful nature.
We feel so blessed to have had our lives touched by Steve. May it help to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
