Gary, Mary of Happy Camp told me of this link so I read the many nice things your friends and family had to say of your mom. Although I did not know her well, I could see how proud and protective she was of you and Richard too, I am sure. Nothing can replace ones mother. We can only stay strong in the belief that now your parents, as mine, are together again and happy to be with each other. They were married for so long. Mine too. For fifty nine years when my mom died in 2009. I know well the feelings of loss of parents. The feeling is something one can not imagine until they find themselves in that situation. I know you miss them but you are one of the strongest people I have ever known and have many friends who care and love you to help you in the ups and downs of this experience. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please call me sometime. My new cell number is 231 290-0180. Love, Jalon Neuman-Skinner
Gary you know how I feel, sorry for your loss. Moms and Grandmas cannot be replaced and are missed forever. You had her with you longer than most of us go to have ours and I know you never took that for granted. Peace to you and Richard and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they are all precious jewels.
You will be missed grandma. I hope you are enjoying your time with grandpa. Love, Shara
I'm glad that I was able to meet your Mom even though briefly before she passed away. You know my heart is with you.
Gary, Just wanted you to know we are thinking of you. Please know if you need anything we will be there for you. Susie & Rick
My thoughts and prayers with you.
We sure loved our precious Theresa. She was such a sweetheart and very much cared for by Residents and Staff at Cloisters. We shall never forget her. Bless all of your family. Sincerely, Marilyn, Activities Director at Cloisters.
To all who knew her and loved her-this world can never be the same without her.
She was a fire and a spirit- one million times her size- who ignited the same in everyone she touched. I loved to just talk with her. Just experience her no-nonsense wisdom- honest and rare.
She will forever be burned in my memory as a woman of steele with a heart of pure gold; fearless and beautiful, funny and smart and she loved her boys like a mother lioness. She always knew quality in people and she mothered and shaped the best. They are fine men. You had every right to be so proud.
A candle is lit in a tiny church in Naples to celebrate her spirit and her life.
I love you, Theresa. Thank you for loving me for so long. -"Smiley"
