I was so sorry to hear about Tom. It was definitely a pleasure working with him for many years. He always kept us laughing.I'm sure he will be greatly missed by many. I will keep your family in my prayers.
May God watch over you all at this time. Tom was a wonderful person. He will be dearly missed. My prayers are with you.
our prayers go out to the Family of the BAK's. we grew up with Tom, i have 6 brothers and we all went to Tucker School.also where carey, was a traffic guard for the school. we loved her and she cared for all of us kids, and watched out for us too.My husband Phil hung out with the bands in this area and they were all in a awe when Tom was the only guy around that got the first 12 string guitar. then later they hooked up again Tom and Phil in the Army.we always hung out with each other at our place off base.we always had good clean fun. like one time we knew of a couple who never saw or felt snow. so Tom, Phil, and I,thought it would be funny to roll a huge snow ball. and we rolled it into the house of the couple who never saw it and turned up the heat. and watched it melt.the wife didnt know what to do with it.well we were rolling on the floor and said to get a mop, finely we rolled it out the back door. it was the funnest thing we saw at the time. we will miss him dearly.we havent seen each other in years because we lost contact from the army. take care and god bless. Dear Bak Family,
It has been over 40 years since I had seen Tommy; we grew up together on Dewey Ave. and his Mom was a school crossing guard at Tucker School. I send my sincere condolensces to Tommy's family.
My condolences to the family.I believe I served with Tom in the National Guard in the Pittsfield unit .He was a second Lt. in a Mech Armor unit, probably a graduate of the officer training school. He was very good at his job,and he deserves credit in his obit.
Dear Audrey and Family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Great memories of Tom and our many neighborhood gatherings. He was a character! He has and will be missed.
Much love to you at this difficult time.
God bless and comfort you.
It was an absolute pleasure to have known Tom. I had the privelage of working with Tom as a filter media Engineer at Wix for 7 years. I have thought and prayed for you and Tom in the last few years and am saddened by the loss. Tom was Tom...unlike any other, a dedicated Ahlstrom employee, a man who worked hard for his customers, a man who always talked about how he loved his family...and of course we talked about fly fishing. On behalf of Wix and myself please convey the deepest sympathy to the rest of the family.
.Audry- I knew Tom @ Pittsfield High... he wanted to have a band... Caroline was having fits about it. Condolences.
Our deepest & heart felt condolences on Tom's passing. Tom was a good friend. It was a privilege to work with him for many years. Our prayers & thoughts are with Bak's family.

I am saddened to hear of Tom's passing. As you know I was priviledged to have been able to spend a year traveling and learning from Tom as he passed on his enormous knowledge of his customers and the Filtration industry in general. Much of my success is attributed to the time and patience he spent with me. Even though it has been four years since Tom called on his customer base they still ask about him on a regular basis. He was not just an account manager he was a friend to all of them.
Please convey my sympathies to Tom's children and grandchildren.
Audrey and family even though we are not with you at this time,we are sharing in your sorrow. Thinking of all the good family times we have shared together. Tom will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. Our love to all of you. Godaughter Melissa and cousins, Lorraine and Joanie (Springfield,Ma)
My deepest condolences to the Bak Family. I grew up at the same time and new Tom. He was a sharp, good looking guy that like to smile...
We will miss you so much Tom. My fondest memories of you were just your visits at the Cain house. When you walked in the door it was straight for the coffee, Bubba and front or back porch. Your presents was always known at all the parties when we were teenagers and our conversations always made me laugh...and blush. I will especially miss you on the holidays around dessert time. Your conversations with Gloria and you getting her all "wound up" were the best. You and Audrey are family to us and all of our thoughts and prayers are with the Bak Family.
With Deepest Reguards,
Jeremy, Stacie and Kylie Cain
Audrey..although it's been many years, I've thought of Tom often. He was a great guy and I enjoyed the music we shared, so sorry for your loss.....
