Dear Peggy and Family, In learning of Toms death we want to express our sincere condolences to you and your family. It was with deep sadness to hear! Tom was a loyal friend to us as we served together in the Navy. I will always remember his boxing matches on ship with never a loss. Our money was always on him. He was a true and loyal friend and we will cherish the memories of our Navy days together with him. With our deepest sympathy,
Greg&Liz Ladeveze and Joe& Barbara Toscano
Missing you today.. I know you are watching from above.. Love you Dad!
Peggy & Family,
Remembering a very young Tommy from grammar school, high school and project years. Full of fun and always happy. Reading his obituary it's easy to see he put all this energy into life and became a very special man. Taken too soon he left behind a loving family and so many friends. We hope wonderful memories will help ease some of your pain. We are so sorry for your loss and keeping you all in our prayers. Gail & John Griffin
To Peggy and Family...our prayers are with you...have fond memories if the projects friends...
I worked with Tom at Sprint/EMBARQ as one of his Sales Engineers. I always enjoyed traveling to customer meetings with him because he always brought out the best in folks. Tom, you helped me desire to come up with better creative solutions and to not fear "the establishement" and you always managed to help customers open up with your friendly assured style. I learned a lot from you. Good memories of our last joint trip to visit TMO in CA always brings a smile to my soul. RIP in His arms now, my friend!
To The Carroll Family;

Growing up with Tom in the Marble Hill Projects were hilarious times for me.

Dear Tom, The minute I met you, you touched my heart. You & Mike hang out in the projects together and every time we met, you had that infectious smile that made you that special guy. Years passed and we lost track but we thank God for the many reunions that brought us together. We are also very grateful for seeing you last summer (even though it was a sad time for all). Tom, you have been in our prayers and I do know the Lord Jesus was with you during this difficult time. Please know you will be forever in our hearts. With much love, Pat & Mike Whalen
I am going to miss you "DUDE". Thinking of all the memorable times we had as kids in the projects.
Keep smiling forever and ever.....

I worked with Tom at Sprint/Embarq and always enjoyed spending time with him. Tom was knowledgeable, funny, opinionated and that is what made him so fun to work with. I will never forget his colorful approach.
I hope you are reading this from up above. I to, only spent a day with you during your visit to Wilmington, NC--but right away felt that we had been friends for a long time. Old navy guys can do that.
Will miss your emails, Mate.
Steve Jaffe (Wilmington, NC)
Ionly knew Tom for a few hours when he visited in Wilmington a few years ago. I recall he was a happy, generous man , and a fair bocce player. God rest his soul and grant him eternal peace.
Tom: Thanks for the inspiration of fighting a good fight. I am so glad to have know you.
You will be missed. You and Peggy visit us 2 years ago and I am so glad we spend time together. Thank you for being a great friend who always made us smile.
I worked with Tom at Nortel years ago and always enjoyed his company. I will never forget Tom's passion and his great sense of humor! I pray God soon provides all his family, and friends, with His peace and comfort in this time of loss and sorrow.
You left this earth much too early. But your life here was rich beyond measure and you spread joy and laughter to everyone you met. Your love for family, friends, god and country is legendary.
You fought and raged at the diseases that kept attacking you for five years. But even the most valiant warrior must lay down his sword and rest. Rest well my friend.
Your memory will live in my heart forever. I am proud and honored to be your buddy.
