Tom was a trail blazer for me. Not sure I like now being the Dougherty patriarch.
Richard and I were so glad that we were able to be here to spend time with Tom. He was the Father-in-Law I had prayed Cathy would have. He was a gentle man and he seemed to evoke a smile the minute I saw him. We will you miss Tom, but you are Home now and that is the reason we rejoice.
We remember Tom so fondly from the years at Community Bible Church in Westchester County, NY. We worked on a puppet ministry with the boys and our daughter and had many a good conversation with Tom and Betty. May the Lord comfort you all in the loss of father and brother. Love, Howard and Joan Dunscomb
I met Uncle Tom a few years ago for the only time when I was an adult. He was so nice to my niece and son. He must have been a great father and grandfather. I am sorry for your family's loss
I'm so very sorry for your loss, David, Cathy, Hudson, and Abigail. I know you will miss him. I hope you have comfort from your family and friends during this time, and have peace in knowing you will see him again.
Tom was a great friend and soldier in the Lord's Army. We spent a lot of time in the harness together as fellow elders in Connecticut. I have tremendous respect for him! While he will be sorely missed her I know he is happy to be with his Lord and with his dear Betty!
