Tom's devotion to family and friends was clear to all who knew him. His fun-loving spirit was an inspiration for everyone and he had a unique way to 'light up' the room with his bright-worded comments. He was a fine pool player having won the coveted Parker Pool Championship in 2008 at the young age of 77! He inspired all of us with that smile and disposition that nothing was impossible!
Out thougts are with Tom's family. Tom will be missed by everyone that knew him. He and Eleanor set the standards on how to become a good citizen for a community. Jackie and I are thinking of you. It was an honor to know Tom.
It has been an honor and privilege to have known such a fine man.
Noreen and family, what a wonderful job you did on your father's obituary. I feel like I knew him after reading it, and am sorry I never had the pleasure. Wishing you nothing but good and happy memories of this obviously wonderful man.
Noreen, Aaron and your extended family. I wish to express my deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your father. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you and your family.
I have known the Evans since I was 15 yrs. I live with them for a little over 10 yrs. I will miss papa dearly. You were the only grandfather figure I ever knew. I love you and will miss you with all my heart.
We have known both Tom and Eleanor ever since the moment we moved to Parker in 1996 and have loved them both. Tom was a wonderful person and stood up for what he believed in in our community of Parker. I'll miss hearing him call for Eleanor when I call the house. Take care Tom and we know you are now at peace with Our Lord.
Our thoughts are with his family; they will missTom, him but have to be thankful for the wonderful memories that they shared.
Barbara & John Gills.
We had only lived in Parker a few years when Tom and Eleanor moved here. We fought together in the Political Wars to keep Parker from becoming just another cookie cutter Suburb and came to love and respect them immensely. Having spent my lifetime using Collins/Rockwell products in many airplanes, Tom and I had a lot to talk about. I expect to continue our conversations (arguments?) about the virtues of the Collins 618 HF Radio in another dimension someday.
Tom stood tall among men in his rich character and love of family and friends. He was a gentle spirit that brought charm to the community of Parker. We were blessed to have delighted in his friendship.
Tom was such a wonderful, inspiring person. Such a joy to be around. I will miss his quick wit and laughter. My prayers are with Eleanor and the family.
